You do realize the metacritic has yet to post all of resistances reviews. Just thought you would like to know that little fact, anyway i will not allow this kind of toxidity make me hate on an awesome game i will be picking this up. I only wish resistance would have scored higher cause its the underdog and i think cliff is a bit of a twatt

nobody considers the 360's install base in the U.S so why should they in Japan. why the double standard all the sudden.
it outsold it on one of two systems, so i guess according to everyones statements the GTA4 flopped on the 360 in japan right?

That was a truly uninformed statement to say the least, as well as an unsuccessful attempt to bash a PS3 game. if MS wants to "step out of the box" let them. Experimentation is good for the industry.
LBP is still hard for most to find btw and i dont remember reading any stats on how much the game sold either.

Its always quiet for some reason when Sony has good news, but when its bad news you better look out for the stampede. For example wasn't there an article this week that said the 3000 was a flop? That tread got way more hits than this one is.
The psp is true to its PS heritige, none of them start out as huge sellers, but once they get a foot hold on the market its over for everyone else.

I wouldn't think a controller could be comfortable and poorly designed at the same time, it just doesn't make sense. Its been the same for 2.5 generations, the original PS controller did not have analog sticks. The analog sticks came around the year 98 near the end of the PS1's reign. Plus if you look at the button placement the 360 controller is a modified version of the PS controller, MS pretty much stuck with the formula of the original S controller from the xbox minus the black and white ...
The ps3 has already proven it can sell software, users of the ps3 have also proven that they are far less inclined to buy an inferior port either out of pride or because they are dual console owners. Software developers i'm sure have picked up on this trend so its to their financial benefit for the games to be on par. Install base is only taken into account i believe if a console has yet to sell 10 mil or what ever the critical point is, the ps3 has long since passed that. What i'm saying is ...
