Yeah some kind of special collectors edition collection or something would have been nice. Instead we got Zelda joy cons and the worst modern Zelda (IMO!) from a gameplay standpoint. And it was far overpriced no less. That should have been a $30 budget title at most, but since its Zelda, they just slapped full price tag on it.
Dont you dare forget Metroid Dread! They FINALLY gave us a full fledged quality 2D Metroid on the home console! That made the Switch a must own for me right there. The Switch did feel like a Wii U port machine for awhile there, but thankfully they have been putting out some great stuff this for the last year or 2.
There shouldnt be any issues upon investigation. Theyve stated time and time again that they will continue to release CoD everywhere, They gain nothing by making it exclusive. To have it on Gamepass is the differentiator. You will have to buy it on PlayStation but can get it as part of the Gamepass sub. There is no anti-competitive issues there at all. And Sony saying they cant make something like CoD? Really!? They just bought Bungie and theyre that worried over CoD?

Thanks for your input. I thought it was interesting because of the psychological aspects of it. Like, why as gamers do we have this innate desire to play the best versions of things we've already played? So much so that we're willing to pay the cost of a brand new game to replay something.

Dont like it, dont read it and just move on. I didnt dig for anything. Do you understand news feeds? This story popped up and I shared it. A few clicks and 10 minutes of reading is digging? I read it, thought it was interesting and posted it. And look at the engagement the story is getting. Everyone seems to want to comment on it no matter how insignificant the comment is.

The 3ds zelda games have not been put on a home console. Yes I want to play remade version of ocarina of time and majoras mask on a big screen! It's a shame they only remade them for the 3ds. Those were huge upgrades. The last of us already got a better version last gen on the PS4. Yeah there really is a ton of untapped potential there. They could just re release much of the stuff like the Mario & Luigi, Kirby, Zelda, and Metroid 3DS games. I've longed for switch version of the virtual console with these gems available.
That would be nice, but these games do hold up very well so there's really not much they need to do! Just put them on the Switch is all we want! If there's any series that deserves a nice limited edition collector set it's these Zelda classics!
Have been wishing for these for ages! I always thought the Switch would get these very soon after release but no dice. I'd love to see a 3DS collection that includes those remakes of Ocarina and Majora, along with the very underrated but absolutely amazing Link Between Worlds.
