The game itself is good so not really so much. This massive mishandling of the project after launch and the blatant lies and misleading, that absolutely is a snack in the face. Particularly for Series X/S owners. There's no reason they couldn't limit some of this stuff to new gen and PC. Do they even sell the Xbox One anymore?! Cut that shit off already.
We live in the era of the coddled generation. They don't know what hard work is these days. They think you should work 20 hours a week and get paid like you worked 40. Christ, I was working 80 hour weeks managing a pizza shop when I was 19! My pay was only 18 an hour then, which was damn good in the 90s! I loved it. Pay the cost to be the boss.
When i was in college, all of my best work came from the crunch. Everytime I took my time and tried to make sure everything was just right, the work suffered. Crunch time is just work. Pay the people more and the they don't care about the crunch because the time goes faster during the crunchtime and the pay is better so it's worth it. Win win. When did normal work conditions become such a heavily debated topic?! Get the shit done and out the door, then bask in the glory.
I bet it has more to do with how many different versions they have to ensure it works with. PC, X, S, One, One S, One X all need to be tested to ensure it works right. That's gotta be a nightmare. This cross gen shit is just catching up to them now. Should just drop that going forward for any new updates. Make it cloud only on last gen.
This is why cross gen is shit. Forever shackled to decade old tech does not sound like a smart move for a game with so many moving parts. Should have been one of those cloud-only-on-last-gen games, like Flight Sim.
Yes it is absolutely a betrayal to give us an entirely new entry in the franchise with a totally different open world setup. We want the same game just remade prettier. They should have just remade Halo 4 with Infinite graphics and changed nothing else. /sarcasm

GTA 5 was built for the ground up on ps3 then rebuilt from the ground up on the PS4 then rebuilt again from the ground up for the PS5. You know what they didn't do? Didn't call it a remake single one of those times. I don't care what you say it is not a remake. It is merely a port using a new game engine. It is the same game through and through. That is not a remake.
As much money as they've made off GTA5 they damn well better make it the best possible game they can. I've enjoyed the new SR quite a bit, but I think everyone expects GTA 6 to bea generational game.
