Had no problem with the controls at all. Took me a minute to get into the flow, and the demo was a very fun experience for me.
People are forgetting that this is Capcom. They're very good at what they do, and that is sticking to what they know, and after a couple of years...THEN evolving a franchise.
Examples: Mega Man, Street Fighter, Resident Evil.

Yeah, I think overall the demo is set in an easy type mode. The enemies themselves die like weak roaches too. When the chainsaw dude came after me, he didn't even stop to attempt to swing, he just went after Sheva I think.

Just finished the demo, and other than getting owned once by the damn axe dude because his swing is freakin' incredible, I had no problems whatsoever.
Then again, I did beat RE4 a good 5 times or so, so maybe that's why. Oh well...first day purchase.

You can't use Famitsu to back up your statements. The Japanese gamers know what they want. Star Ocean should be the best selling 360 game yet. Last Remnant sold poorly because it was mediocre.

Exactly. Makes no sense not to put it on the PS3. And there's proof that JRPGs sell well on the PS3 in Japan, like White Knight.
Star Ocean is not big enough of a name to sell great on one platform, unless it was a handheld, since those sell best in Japan.

tri-Ace may be the developers of the Star Ocean series, but Star Ocean is a Square Enix property. Star Ocean was one of Enix's series before they merged with Square. Same with Dragon Quest. All of tri-Ace's games were published by Square Enix. It's nothing new.
If Square Enix wants Star Ocean to go anywhere else, it will. It's their property.
Interesting to see how White Knight Chronicles has basically outsold Blue Dragon on its first week.
Blue Dragon was supposed to be THE game, I mean...it was made by key figures of the main Chrono Trigger crew (Sakaguchi, Uematsu, Toriyama)...and yet it couldn't compete with Level 5's new game.
Then again, I'd probably pick Blue Dragon up whenever I get a 360, just to support Mistwalker...because I appreciate their work. But sheesh, they deserve better than this.
