This isn't new. Japan has been supporting the 360 for a while now. Doesn't mean a lot either.

Capcom, Mistwalker, Namco Bandai, and most of all Square Enix...all have been supporting the 360.

Japan has not just started to support the 360. They always have been. The problem is...there's not much to show for it, now is there?

The only companies that have benefited so far from it has been Capcom and Namco Bandai. Capcom with Dead Rising and Lost Planet, and...

Actually, I can name two.

Wild ARMs and Suikoden.

Over hyped? Over hyped you say?

I'm not even going to say what I have to say. Someone else will.

Edit: Seems like the Disagree Fairy has appeared. Do state reasons, or don't at all. Believe me, you're just OVER HYPING the use of the disagree button.

The Sonic Team either needs a complete revision, or rid of completely.

Sonic has joined Crash and Spyro as platforming icons that went down the gutter as soon as their original creators ditched them.

Pretty pointless, unless it's a special controller for one game.

Easy. Uncharted 2 or God of War III.

Damn, wait a minute...I forgot that Naughty Dog also has Jak and Daxter up their sleeve whenever they decide to go back to it. Imagine how THAT will look like when they're ready to bring it out.

Still getting Resident Evil 5, day one.

As a fan of the series, review scores mean nothing to me. Even so, I don't get this staple that a game has to score a 9 or above consistently to be a must buy.

Uncharted, a game I enjoyed greatly, scored a whole bunch of 8s around, and it was one of the best games that came out that year. People need to end this "9 or above = AAA" bullsh*t.

Not bad. Hope it has legs, though. That's what truly matters in Japan. If it can keep constantly selling.

Still, I fear its North American sales.

We'll see.

Nah. I say Cody and Guy myself. Well, Haggar would be cool too, but Cody and Guy are favorites.

No. 360 users only have certain parts, such as split screen and some of the maps. All of the other stuff are completely new.

Certainly a must buy for me tomorrow. Reminds me...I have to get back to Flower.

I'm expecting a new Wild ARMs sooner or later.

Also, sorry man, but your write up should be looked over for mistakes. For one...the title should read "What happened to all of the RPGs from Sony?", not the way it is now.

Other than that, you can pretty much expect a new Dark Cloud too.

It's obvious that tri-Ace was not ready for these HD consoles.

While I'll probably still enjoy it (when it comes out on PS3...come on guys, inevitable), I just hope Square Enix knows what the hell they are doing with XIII. That game is going to be analyzed like hell.

Come on tri-Ace....I want the guys that gave me Star Ocean, The Second Story back.

Coming from a PS3 Fan who is a star commenter on Kotaku and frequents the site everyday, there's a fair share of both kinda of fanboys on the site.

And then there's the group that owns multiple consoles who don't act dumb the like many fanboys on the web. I consider myself with them.

Maybe you didn't read Luke Plunkett's (the seemingly biggest PS3 disliker on the site) glowing review of the PSN game Flower earlier today? He said nothing negative about the game at all...

Well, seems like opinion is not liked. -_-

Sheesh. Can I just say that I can't wait for it and redeem myself? Though don't be surprised when what I say happens.

Because this is Square Enix.

5595d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

It will happen.

Also, it will also have to be updated to blend in better with the newer releases, story wise. The one major thing they have to do is incorporate Genesis somehow, since he's a major player.

They can even do the slightest of hinting to him, like in Dirge of Cerberus, but it must be done.

After the remake, I surely believe that they will finish the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII with either a sequel or another CG movie. I'm betting on a se...

You do realize Nomura designed basically everything in FF7...and he's been designing basically everything since? So that "feminine art" would be right at home. ;)

Also, listen to what you just typed.

"Why they don't continue with a more REALISTIC approach like in the intro of FFVIII? That was the coolest intro of any FF ever (in my opinion). *Seifer LAUNCHES A FIRE SPELL TO SQUALL BUT HE DEFLECTED IT WITH HIS GUN SWORD and so on..."

I'll stop defending it when people stop being hypocrites.

For example, people saying they'll get Street Fighter IV instead.

People say that the controls for this game are so last gen, so what about Street Fighter IV? It was pretty much known that they made it very similar to Street Fighter II so that people can have an easier time getting into the game. Of course, there's minor additions added to add some depth, but isn't that was Resident Evil 5 also has? "Mino...
