Yes. The whole point.

Ok...

Console versions of DL2 won't have a 60fps w/RT option. Devs are saying it's either 30 fps w/RT in "Quality" mode or unlocked framerate "targeting" 60fps in "Performance" mode.

Even minimal RT implementation takes a lot of resources...including on $500 consoles.

Ignorance is truly bliss then!

It's telling that your instinct was to just instantly defend the multinational corporation and not the indie devs who make games we play, though.

Sony took the dev's complaints and are making quality changes. They made changes because things weren't "amazing" for everyone.

There, now you're informed.

Lol. That's certainly a lot of legwork for someone so busy...

And I got to point out...you're on a gaming news site right now ranting about how you don't have time? Come on now.

It isn't that hard man. Just type "top indie games" into a search bar.

You could have saved even more time and just said: I don't like indies. But then it bears the question...why are you commenting on an article about indies?

That's not what a "walking sim" is though. Why does that get thrown around so much?

And the stand out feature from the first game was the audio more than the graphics. It was pretty, especially for its budget at the time, but that's not what made it special.

The bigger budget, resources, time, and power certainly is helping improve those graphics, though. I'm also excited to see that updated combat they've discussed. We haven&#...

Most of the gaming content I follow on podcasts, SM, and YouTube is from older gamers. They're usually the first ones to highlight good indies.

I don't know why anyone would need to sift through the games on their own. Even brand new stuff is usually previewed and reviewed way before it pops up for sale.

Also, there's a "Day One Releases" category you can filter by on GP. They've been releasing 2-3 indies day 1 each month fair...

Seems like you didn't read the article to me.

The suicide grenaders are some of my favorites, and the ones who make jokes about the grapple physics.

I learned to stop and listen to their comm tower chatter too. It's pretty funny stuff.

@Sully

You see the irony in this, right?

"Maybe just hit disagree like a normal person instead of derailing the thread with sweeping generalisations because you don't like what someone said"

Name checks out.

What did you say that needs to be "countered". No shit the game might sell even more if it wasn't on GP. Lol. Bold observation on your part!

Here's the thing - "most of those 10 million *PLAYERS*" couldn't care less about that.

....Because that's how normal people think.

But to now turn against NPD numbers when they've meant so much to the console warriors for so long....that's rough.

904d ago 11 agree3 disagreeView comment

You know it's rough out there when they got you guys questioning NPD results.

904d ago 9 agree8 disagreeView comment

Lol, it was only outsold by COD, BF, and Pokemon.

I'm sure there are better articles where you can preach about the evils of GP.

This one ain't it.

No, no, no. Sweeney is all about open and fair competition.

So we DEFINITELY should trust that there's nothing to worry about with Tencent owning 40% of EPIC while it is also running WeGame...

Don't you mean you "can wait"?

Not sure what to tell you....You can use your DS on PC, I guess?

908d ago 6 agree4 disagreeView comment

Oh, it plays wonderfully. Personally, I would say it only plays like a $495m game, though.

Then again, being able to see the faithful get upset by all of the praise it's received is probably worth the extra fiver.

I'm not sure what you're trying to show, but this list SHOULD tell you why they are getting props for a strong publishing year.

Any 1st or 3rd party would consider this many high quality published games a great year.

But console wars...

There are some helpful system-level options (like the narrator, high contrast, text to speech) that are good tools for visually impaired players.

Many of the types of issues highlighted here need to be adjusted/accounted for in the software itself though.
