Maybe in Japan but the North American and European markets just don't seem to support portable PlayStation devices too well.
Could end up being the best-selling exclusive on the PlayStation 4. Only game that probably would beat it is Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. But, with how many more PlayStation 4 owners there are now compared with when UC4 released, God of War might just surpass.
Kind-of-harsh—but, I get where you're.....um.... coming fro.....yeah, no, that post is kind of a Cartman-making-chili-with-arch -nemesis'-parents'-fing ers kind of intense. In any case, maybe once/if Microsoft's XBOX division goes belly-up there won't be any salty tears, pain and suffering to be enjoyed and you'll replace the craving with sea-salt peanut brittle?
Oh, man, if it has a Jaguar library......
The entire production is a long-shot, though. Didn't like that bit where the journalist asked the Atari representative if it will compare to a Steam Machine. He replied that it's not going to be that ambitious....😞
This launching the month after the Sea of Thieves' disaster could very well sell quite a few XBOX One owners on getting a PlayStation 4.
Hoping the settings and set pieces are as massive and engulfing as God of War II and Dante's Inferno were.
You know, in all fairness and logic this thing could turn out to be more successful than XBOX One. Wouldn't that be something...
I hope it's at least as powerful as a Switch.
Anyone else cringe reading the ring-kissing going on in those tweets? 😣
PlayStation executives admit when they make blunders like this. Remember the bow heard round the world?
This is going be one of most accurate first-person shooter games of art imitating life—outside of war FPSs—that I've ever played.
@darthv72 Agreed. This game certainly is garnering a heaping serving more media attention than most, though. Of course, that's mainly just due to how badly XBOX needed it to be a homerun.
Phenomenal! Read that it's like a faster version of Final Fantasy, so I thought maybe it was.
"Best of the series," I like that. Didn't play 4, but was infatuated with 3. Am hoping the game's architecture and gameplay mechanics are still holding up
This in any way related to the Lost Odyssey franchise?
Nothing worse than a game with a big world to explore with not enough to do...
Glad Ubisoft fleshed out this game—as long as it's not pointless filler. Which, given the depth and revelancy of the subject matter, I'd guess it's full of interesting material.
Kind of fascinating the more time that goes by the more that level-headed gamers are getting bored of even just stories about Sea of Thieves. It's to the point that mainly only extremist fans of the game are sticking around to vote up/down comments.
Seems a better idea that if a boat is sunk by another boat, then it should spawn a safe distance/zone away. But, if it's sunk for any other reason spawn back local.
It's still squirming somewhat. Got the IGN and GameSpot score still yet to fall. After that flurry of retribution we should be in the clear, though. At least until the first big update lands.
In any case, two more days and it'll be all about the Far Cry. Should be a big enough release to wash away all this fallout from Sea of Seas.
In general—if you're a third-party developer releasing on XBOX One and PlayStation 4 version of a game you're going to ask yourself one big question: Is it worth the trouble of further optimizing the graphics and performance of that game for the XBOX One X when that game is going to sell 3-1 on the PlayStation 4/ PS4 Pro?
It not being a tropical setting through me off. 5's locale is so far out in left field (far right field?) that it should be fairly entertaining.
