I'm partial to physical copies myself, both in terms of security and collectibility. However, there are times when online deals are too good to pass up and my current predicament compels me to get digital :(
I hope we can still download the digital purchases because we paid to keep games for as long as we like, equivalent to having physical copy on you.
Eternal does compel you to manage your resources and be strategic with how and on whom you use what.
Doom 3 is a wonderful horror game, and quite an effective one too if I may add. Never imagined Doom of all games would have a entry that would be classified as horror. The atmosphere of the game is palpable to say the least, and change of pacing is nice. I would honestly welcome another game in the vein of Doom 3, it could be spin-off series of the IP that focuses on horror FPS than arcade FPS structure of the new games. No harm in that at all.
@genericgamer101 - Succinctly said and to the point. DS stands on its own and doesn't fall into a well defined category, and that is how people judge a product, that much is evident from all the comments speaking in opposition. It is near impossible for everyone to be capable of perceiving everything out of the confines of a predefined framework (even myself), whether they be aware of it or not and those who are capable (relatively) are shot down by the former for reasons easily inferred....
Playstation 1 and 2 both stand together when it comes to being favorites, but something about the PS2 has an abstruse allure about it, and I quite admire the design of the original model, as opposed to the slim model, even though it has its own charm in the gaming room. PS1 and 2 gave me some of my best gaming memories, aside from NES and MD.
And here I am struggling to land a permanent job by going through college and even after having considerable experience, I am not even getting responses ugghh..I wonder what the hell is wrong with this world sometimes. Perhaps I should switch to games full time and chance it.
Strange we haven't heard anything regarding the sequel to Spidey. Come one where is it Sony??
I'm hoping someone would make a killer Airwolf model for this new sim so we could fly the Lady around the globe :D
That's the sad truth. I have noticed that too, out of the 3 console markets, Nintendo has the most passionate apologists and fervent followers, akin to MCU fanboys, speak the truth and they'll be barking at you like rabid canines too afraid to accept the truth and live in the cave of blissful ignorance.
Being a Nintendo product owner myself, I have enjoyed their offerings but at the same time I don't negate the facts that Nintendo definitely is the most egotistical of al...
Wouldn't Sony need to pay Nintendo to accomplish something like that?
Fully concur! It's a neat handheld system.
*Ok I read the source post and it isn't a Dino Crisis... shame on you Capcom! How long must we wait for it?
Enlighten me on this Battle Pass system, would this affect my campaign playthrough or provide me with certain advantage by giving me certain items etc? I'm not into Multiplayer modes, will solely be playing this on solo.
I'm keeping mine on top of the Tv table, and is well ventilated. I also dust it regularly and try to keep the area clean. I'm simply worried if there is something wrong within the console or if it is normal for base model of PS4 to do that. It's not the slim, it's the launch edition models with one glossy side on top.
I play RE 2 on my regular Ps4, and the fan sounds like a Plane revving up to take off :/
Is that normal or should I be worried?
If Doom is gonna do that, I sure hope my Ps4 lasts lol
I am not sure if I would call it being loyal, but I simply have to have a PlayStaion in the collection. I have other consoles too, but they don't demand precedence from me. For example, if an Xbox and a PS console were to release the same day; I'd choose PS and wait for Xbox. Simply because since days of PSX, Sony has given us quality content and their range of IPs meshes with what I like and prefer for my gaming needs. Not that I don't enjoy enjoy my Nintendo(s) for instance, the...
As much as I don't like some of their practices, I would be saddened to see physical game stores go. There's innate joy in going to a brick and mortar store to browse for games, providing you prefer physical copies. And I feel strongly about the point about GS/EB stores focusing too much on merchandise. At least here in Canada, they should be selling more games; ranging from C64 to current era, it should all be about games! It's irritating for me as a gamer, that if I go into EB, ...
As much as I would like that, it'd probably be a good idea to do Dino Crisis or another IP first and then tackle RE after a break. Helps to build it up. Unless they can do two side by side, which is all the better :D
For now that's one big advantage Xbox has over PS5. I have always loved backwards compatibility over any other feature, save for ability to play Blu-Ray movies and USB videos/music. Despite having retro consoles, it's a plus point if I wish to use one machine as a one for all sort of device, especially if it uses software enhancements for old games.
That way you won't have to remaster games again this gen, seriously, enough with remasters and make new games! Way...
