Oh man Freelancer.. that takes me back. Would love to see that
It's so embarrassing that this is the number 1 story on N4G right now.
I have no problem with this content existing.. But have a little class folks. There are SOOOO many other websites for content like this.
Commenting doesn't really help I suppose.. But still if we did a news story for every nude mod added to Skyrim that's all we would ever see. It's not news, it's expected. There's always nude modes. Keep that on the Nexus..
In my opinion, Xenoblade doesn't have any buisness being on a top 5 list for the Switch.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Splatoon 2
Ring Fit Adventure
Super Mario Maker 2
Luigi's Mansion 3
Heck even Pokémon Sword and Shield
All of those and more I would put in far above Xenoblade. It's a good game, but has glaring problems, particularly in performance and voice acting...
Hardcore agreed with this. I know port begging is never a good look, but I'd love to see this game on my TV at 4K on PlayStation and Xbox, it's a little soft on Switch.
I'd happily double dip on this game, let me give you money Supergiant!
This is a console war post so I don't know why I'm bothering. But that exclusive argument my not be so black and white in a generation where Xbox will be harvesting the fruits of all the acquisitions they have made.
It's far from a locked 60, I'm seeing a large amount of dips in this demo, which makes me worried about the game when there are enemies and combat at play.
Still, the RE Engine in incredible, I hope they can optimize and lock it before the release.
I am with you. I understand that people who love this game rave about how amazing it is, and I've tried playing a few times over the years but it just plays and feels so loose a sloppy to me. I don't see the game everyone seems to talk about, but maybe it's worth another try on PS5
Ubisoft regularly publishes open world single player games. I really enjoyed AC Valhalla and Immortals. They are a catastrophically better alternative to EA, which has managed to push out one passable Star Wars adventure game since gaining the license. Pathetic.
Ubisoft pumps out quality games regularly. Massive, the Division devs, working on a Start Wars game is very interesting! The only thing I didn't like about the Division 2, was the grounded restrictions the Tom ...
Oh I was only looking at the 3080, $1000 for the 3060 is not a bad deal at all. fair game I concede.
Alright lets play this game.
You can get a premium productivity laptop like the Surface Laptop 3 for $799-$1299 depending on your configuration. The i7 model being the $1299. That would do homework, stream, develop, do homework, voice chat.. all the 'way more' category you just alluded too.
These gaming laptops start at $2000 and go far north of $3000 depending on configuration. So you're paying up to $1,200-$2,200 on top of the cost of a Sur...
the GeForce 3080 laptops start at $1999. Really cool looking devices, but stating 'much faster than PS5' as if it's some kind of amazing achievement is such a ridiculous click bait statement.
Get this folks. The $2000-$3000 devices are more powerful than a $400 device. This is truly a remarkable feat.
The game is running in backwards compatible mode, it's not a proper next gen patch. PlayStation seems to have less options available to developers in this scenario. We saw the same with BC titles like Modern Warfare last year and Cyberpunk as well does not as many options on PS5.
I would have preferred a proper next gen patch, it's odd that EA has been so slow to patch their library. How is Apex not updated yet for example..
Yeah.. the fact that they have not shown gameplay makes me think it's going to be a fairly low effort port. I hope I'm wrong.
Very true, but many of those uncapped games, especially Sony Exclusives, are in performance modes which have resolution caps. So for games like God Of War, you're stuck choosing 60 at 1080, or 30 at 4K.
The games already look great, all they need to do is provide an unlocked framerate option for the 4k modes.
Not to oversimplify game design, but this is not a problem on PC titles, I'm surprised that there are so few PS5 specific patches for PS4...
I had resigned to expecting Ray Tracing to be exclusive to 30fps modes. Spider-Man has completely blown that conception away. I'm with you, that option not being here sucks.
Gamespot very consistently reviews high profile games lower than the rest of the pack.
I'll save you the click, here are the full patch notes as presented on the website:
Various gameplay improvements
Various stability fixes
Various performance fixes
Various features added
That's interesting though.. So if it's December then it won't be the Ultimate Edition on GamePass? Hm.
If it is wireless, has inside out tracking, and drops the PS3 move controllers for something specifically designed for VR, then I'm there day 1.
Add Horizon and Bloodborne to this list please. 60fps makes a world of difference, God of war feels phenomenal to play in this higher fidelity.
