I fail to see the issue here.. It's like the Sony exclusive PS2 and PS3 games running an a Sony smart TV though PlayStation now. So you DON'T need a ps2/3 to play them anymore.

It's a Microsoft game.. That only works on Windows 10 (Game requires DX12) and Xbox.. Both of which are Microsoft platforms.
How is this counter productive?? It's incentivizing either Windows 10 or Xbox adoption. Not to mention it broadens range of potential buyers, the game will likely sell even better than it otherwise would.

The PS4 is no where near as powerful as the minimum hardware requirements for the Oculus Rift.
Either the external processor included with the PSVR is going to be a beast (and expensive..) or the games on PSVR will just pale in comparison to the Oculus.
Love my PS4. I mean LOVE IT. But common guys.. You're comparing PC hardware. Which has been pushing games at 2k resolution and 144fps for years.. to a PS4.. which runs amazing games like Bloodborne at bare...
What about Gears of War 4? Or Halo Wars? Crackdown, ScaleBound, Recore and Sea of Thieves?
Microsoft had a solid E3 last year. I wouldn't be so quick to discount them this early in the year.

I don't know.. The PSVR requires additional processing power to run. Meaning it is shipping with an external processor. That's not a cheap combination.
Considering the Oculus is $600 for JUST the headset, controller and a few games.. I'm a bit worried that we may be seeing a pricy PSVR as well.

Xbox had a much better showing of games coming out this year.
Sony had amazing announcements of new projects coming out 2016 and beyond.
So.. I guess it depends really? Microsoft wins this year with exclusives. But they will have an uphill battle next year with Uncharted 4 coming out! We shall see.

Also it is an open world game, so it's not going to look as good as the Witcher 3.. which was NOT an open world game. Large separated zones do not equal one huge open world in my book.
I fail to see the problem.. If the Yogscast is able to increase game sales for the Indi Developer, than is it not a good business decision for the developer to invest in this?
Further the Yogscast only gets paid a share of the INCREASE of sales their videos creates for the company. If the Yogscast fails to increase sales. They get nothing.
Seems like a low risk deal for the developer. They have a chance to make more money, without risking any loss.
Microsoft has been transforming into a 'device and services' company. They have been obsessed with this focus, buying Nokia for their Microsoft phones and releasing the surface tablet for example.

Here's the deal. Due to the success of the game they are making MORE dlc than they originally planned. so $60 instead of $40 of dlc. Obviously this would increase the price of the season pass since you are getting $20 of extra unplanned content.
