That's because, with the PS1 and PS2, they were able to receive incredible amounts of high profile third party exclusive games (like GTA, and Metal Gear). I think you are confused. Switch launched Q4 of 2016, not Q1 of 2017.
For Nintendo's fiscal years, Q4 is January-March, Q1 is April-June.

They did a really good job with the atmosphere, but Samus' movements aren't quite up to speed. I get that it's just a demo of sorts though.

The distinction is "home video game console" or "handheld video game console". Both of them are consoles, just different types.

Nintendo isn't begging Sony for crossplay. They are implementing it themselves with other networks. Nothing wrong with MS and Nintendo working together either.
He clearly means cross progression, where your progression in one game isn't limited to a specific company platform.
I don't really care about the multiplayer aspect of the game, but the story I was hoping to keep authenticity. They could have done a great story about Lyudmila Pavlichenko (or create a story similar), but it seems like they are going to be putting any woman on the front lines for the story (and one with a disability, no less).
To me, it's disingenuous. Feel free to put women on the front lines for modern war stories, but not WW2.

It's a community lead site. Because Sony is in the lead you are going to have many more Sony fans on this site. Because it's community lead some fans are less likely to approve some articles against Sony than those promoting it. I'm not necessarily saying it's "right", but it's not a conspiracy or purposeful propaganda.

You aren't understanding. In a year the Switch could explode as well, just as the DS did.
When I was talking about time frame I was talking about the same year and a half time frame the Switch is in. That's the only comparison we have for the Switch's performance compared to the DS, PS4, and Wii at this time.
You can predict future performance, but you can't say for absolute certain like you have been.
