I love hearing how Marvel only plans to work with the best developers for their games going forward. No more trying to cash-in by tying every release with an upcoming movie. No strict deadlines. They are allowing the best developers in the world as much time as possible to create the best marvel games possible. This is a fantastic strategy and I can't wait to see what comes of it. Spider-Man looks like the start of a something even bigger for gamers. Exciting times ahead!
I still may give this a look. It looked very promising and I know it had its fans who loved it when it originally launched in 2011. If the boss battles are fun, maybe that'll make the generic battles in-between somewhat tolerable? $19.99 isn't a bad price either. Hmm, I'm torn
We have one and we provide it to the listeners every week during the show :)
I really dig the atmosphere and setting of this game; I could see myself getting sucked into this one. Well, until Randall starts to talk anyways. The voice performance for the his character is kind of weak. Everything else looks and sounds pretty good though. Might have to buy this one.
I'm with you, I was pretty excited for the release of this game, but now my excitement (and expectations) have shot through the stratosphere! I hope to god this is an NX launch title and not a "launch window" title. Day 1 please!
In the first 20 minutes we saw God of War, The Last Guardian, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, and Detroit...that was F'ing nuts! After that, it was nothing but game after game after game at break neck speed. Sony had THREE presenters the whole night....Layden, House, and Kojima; that's insane for a press conference. It was all games and nothing but games. I know a lot of these games don't have release dates, but I'm excited as hell nonetheless! Great show IMO
I enjoyed the show overall, but I can't help feel that it didn't live up it's potential. BF1 and TF2 reveals were great, the sports stuff was there for those who live and breath it. It's just the Star Wars bit and Mass Effect bit felt like they deserved better than a behind-the-scenes look, especially Mass Effect considering that's much further along. Overall, good show, but could've been much better.
I played Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC and Xbox one, and I fully plan to play it again this fall on PlayStation 4. I'm a massive fan of the direction there going with this franchise. Exciting times for Tomb Raider
The gameplay is as good as it's ever been, there are many ways to carry out the main mission, and community made content is great. My biggest beef isn't so much with the episodic approach, but more so with the weak narrative so far. There was lots of talk about a overarching story that would pull players in, but in my opinion it hasn't lived up to it so far.

I'm a huge fan of these Elusive Targets, so much to the point where I hope they are implemented into all future HItman games, regardless if they are episodic or not. The tension is real and it's extremely rewarding if you can pull it off.
Tech whore here:
PlayStaton VR (October), PlayStation Neo (Rumored Fall 2016), Nintendo NX (March 2017), and Scorpio (Rumored Fall 2017): I actually like the staggered releases, gives me time to budget for the next tone. The real problem for me will be whether or not I'll have enough money for any games in-between each console launch. I have to save up the money in order to pay for these damn thing. Console gaming as we know it is changing and I'm not sure how I fee...
Matterfall!
This game is insanely fun when played cooperatively and the RPG elements really caught me off guard. Weapons (while limited in type) also can be upgraded and re-rolled to your liking. Housemarque just knows how to make a fun ass game!
At first there's a lot of character development and dialogue, but wow, once this game starts amping up the creepiness, it's highly effective. I know there was a lot of buzz surrounding this game after it launched on Xbox One and PC, but now that I've finally watched some of it, I'm all in!
This game was frigging awesome on the PlayStation Vita and it looks and runs even better on console. Really happy the two-man team at Jaywalkers Interactive was able to bring this game to a much larger audience. It's on sale this week on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, definitely worth $10!
If there is truth to the rumor that Resident Evil 7 is REALLY returning to its roots with this next iteration, I will be there Day 1. While I thought RE5 was entertaining, I just couldn't play RE6 due to the fact that it felt like what would happen if Michael Bay got his hands on the franchise. If there's one classic franchise needs to return to its roots, it's Resident Evil. Here's hoping this rumor is true!
Rainbow Road is still to this day one of my favorite race tracks in any video game. Super Mario Kart was one of the first games that introduced me to the competitive aspect of gaming.
Video game soundtracks have evolved so much, and the soundtrack for Human Revolution was fricking awesome. Really excited for Mankind Divided AND its OST!
I second this....Axiom Verge is fricking fantastic. Has all the awesome tropes of a Metroidvania game and one hell of a kickass soundtrack to boot!
It definitely isn't the most graphically stunning game but it does look like a unique world and the sci-fi vibe is pronounced. I'm looking forward to trying this out, despite the early reviews.
