I really really wish Sony would implement something similar with PS Now or just roll it into PS Plus. A Netflix style service like Game Pass is awesome for people who don't buy every single game day one. For $10 you can have your choice of 100 games (old and newer-ish)
I absolutely love the atmosphere of this game and it appears to be pretty challenging as well. Some of these indie titles are really fantastic games.
Like many gamers, I hold Double Fine's catalogue of point and click adventure games to a very high standard. Even though this appears to be a much shorter experience, it sounds like it has all the trademarks of a successful Double Fine production. I'll be picking this up today. Bummed I missed out on the pre-order bonus though! D'oh!
I am deeply concerned about PlayStation Now and whether or not Sony has missed the boat on this service. Why they don't just roll it into PS Plus ($10/mo price hike would be justified) and allow people to play the games tied to their PSN account is beyond me. They could still charge an addtional fee to rent the games you don't own, but at least they'd get more use out the tech that they paid for.
240FPS confirmed
This appears to be one hell of a challenging game but I dig it when developers add an addicting soundtrack that helps temper the rage that builds while playing games of this ilk. For $6.99, this seems like a no-brainer for masochists who are looking for a kick-in-the-nuts type of experience.
No Cross is one of the most intense (and underrated) competitive MP experiences out there. It's definitely geared towards a niche audience, but it's an exciting experience every time I fire it up!
Wait! Lichdom Battlemage runs at 50-60 frames on the Pro with Boost Mode enabled? That game was technical disaster on base PS4. Which manner of witchcraft is this?!
We have so many games coming out this year, and I'm trying to plan out my roadmap to complete them...but that roadmap will burn up in flames when Destiny 2 is announced. It's gotta be this Fall, right?
I'm really enjoying this game so far. While the puzzles aren't overly demanding early on, it ramps up the difficulty a little more through Chapter 3. Visually and audibly, the game is well done. Technically, it's serviceable, but the framerate appears to be unlocked and it chugs - although briefly - in areas that feature a lot of activity.
I was really hoping we'd get that today since it was the kick-off for the 30th anniversary...but alas, no such luck :(
I'm still undecided on the Switch (especially regarding the online features), but the appeal of playing Zelda and Mario games on the go is pretty appealing. Here's hoping Nintendo clears up a lot of those concerns prior to launch next month.
Playing in VR is insanely intense. The audio work is so well done and the environment is so damn creepy that once you play it in VR, you'll think about it often when you're playing it the traditional way (on a TV). Regardless of how you play though, it's a fantastic Resident Evil experience.
Wow! These reviews are off the charts!
I don't know when the hell I'm supposed to play this game with all these other ones coming out but it looks like I need to make it happen. Sounds like there's a ton of stuff to do in this game.
Ghost Recon has so much potential and will no doubt take up a bulk of my time this spring, despite all the other big titles launching in that window. I love Tom Clancy games and the open-world elements of Wildlands that offer multiple ways to tackle your objectives.
The amount of subtle reference and nods to previous generations and games is fantastic. It's a great game
I really hope this game does well on Xbox One and PC because it really deserves to do well. Hopefully this can make its way to other platforms down the line because the more people who can play and appreciate Rise & Shine, the better!
It's incredibly fun but be prepared for a mighty challenge. This game will test your resolve early and often. That being said, it's highly recommended at $14.99!
I'm enjoying this game way more than I expected. I don't have much experience with the franchise prior to Breath of the Wild, but I've been having a blast wandering about Hyrule in this installment. The survival elements (weather, weapon durability, crafting) keeps me on my toes at all times and I really like how it's implemented. I also like discussing with friends the different ways we've solved the shrines.
