I want to say it was first person but not in the traditional sense. You couldn't see your arms or the gun either. If it was a sniper you’d see the scope, obviously, but if it was any other gun, it was just the crosshairs and nothing more.
It does and it’s optional
Overall? I think it belongs in that discussion. In capable hands, it definitely makes a case for itself, I've seen people destroy teams in Crucible. I've also heard people say "it sucks", but when I watch them use it during a stream, I can confirm it's not the gun that sucks lol. The auto-load on precision kills in clutch, and a slight heal on all kills is even better.
I need this game in my life like yesterday! Can't wait to play this!
Agreed about the comfort. It’s less intense than a first person game but no less immersive.
I read as much as I could stand, and if the dude don't like the game, it's whatever.
But my gosh, I'm pretty sure our site's editor would've stabbed himself in the neck with his red marker after the first two paragraphs of this review. I mean really?!
Finally, I can play this franchise on the big screen! I know it was a huge success on 3DS and what not, but this will be the first time I invest a lot of time into this series.
The visual flair of their games is second to none and the gameplay is equally impressive. Surprised Matterfall is launching so close to this one, but I'm not complaining.
If Gabe is the antagonist in this game, that's one thing. But if he's the hero...yeah, not buying it.
Very few games have had the type of impact on me as the first Outlast did a few years ago. It is the best horror game I have ever played, with its tense atmosphere, disturbing visuals, and bat-sh*t crazy story. I don't know if Outlast 2 will be able to top the first one, but if it comes close, I know it'll be a trip worth taking
For the sake of your sanity, it would be best not to try and figure out why Nintendo does the things they do. It's beyond the point of any comprehension whatsoever
I guess I'll be THAT guy here, but...what about SOCOM 2!? :(
You're not the first one to tell me that, and you probably won't wont be the last! LOL
Dammit, I don't know if I want to sound like Ray Romano! LOL
The system specs are sexy as hell for a "mid-generation upgrade"; I'm all for whatever will look great on my 4K TV. Only thing I need at this point is a price. I understand this is a premium product so I'm not expecting this to be priced alongside the PS4 Pro, but anything over $499 won't be an easy sell for anyone who's not a tech enthusiast or an Xbox One owner desperate for a major upgrade.
This is one of the strangest games I've seen in awhile, but there's not doubt the twisting storyline will attract a lot of gamers.
I frigging love Sniper Elite 4; the stealth elements are strong and it's incredibly rewarding to pull of a long distance shot on higher difficulties. Glad to see they'll be supporting the game with substantial content going forward
This is why it's so fun to talk about Breath of the Wild with other players because there are so many different ways to come across things and complete missions. Great show!
I've rather enjoyed Andromeda with what I've played via the trial period on Origins. Thankfully those animation glitches are few and far between and don't distract from the story. Hopefully that holds true through the entire campaign.
I never played any of their games and thought “Ayooooo, these cats are industry leaders for sure!”
Don’t get me wrong, the Payday games were fun but those controls never felt great or even good.
