Holy fuck does this video and comments make me depressed. Sad to see so many gamers so conditioned by anti-consumer nonsense that they're already trying to defend the possibility of the NX not being backwards compatible. FFS, people.

I want exactly four things.

1. A visual style that attempts to mimic that of the manga or anime.
2. Rudimentary hair physics (IE it should move according to wind and ki).
3. More in-depth transformation system.
4. Additional customization options.
5. Oh, and LESS balance. It's a Dragonball game, FFS. Balance is the last thing a DB game needs.

Number 4 seems like it's inevitable, but sadly it seems like number 1 ...

Aw, all the games worth buying... I already own.

Oh well.

Anyway, for $4, no one has any excuse any more. If you do not own Okami after today, you are officially a terrible human being and I pity you.

Not a big year? Maybe for the WiiU, but the 3DS is killing it in 2016.

The point is that the remake did not add anything to the series and is inferior to the original game, making it an entirely meaningless effort.

Does Sly Cooper need a remake?
Ratchet and Clank certainly didn't, and by all accounts the remake failed to improve the series.

...Even if you enjoy the Telltale formula, the PS3 port of their Game of Thrones game is just godawful. Crashes constantly, can't even manage a stable 20fps framerate, tons of glitches and bugs... it's a hot mess.

And yes, there are at least three. A telltale game, an RPG and an RTS.

How misleading. Famitsu doesn't really review games, they just score them.

I don't think there is a good one. Just a shitty one, a less shitty one, and a Telltale one, which is either super shitty or only a little shitty depending on whether or not you like the Telltale formula. (IE the console version is buggy as hell).

How nice. I get to buy Wild Arms 3 a third time because Sony doens't like backwards compatibility.

...Yes, I do realize that "by my logic" only a small number of games are truly open world. Congratulations: you cleverly discovered the point I was making.

...Yet somehow missed the *other* point that "open world" is not a strictly defined term, and encompasses a great many games that only approximate open worlds (like the original Zelda).

If you want to play some of the best games of the generation, you need a WiiU.
If you want to play some of the best RPGs of all time, you also need a WiiU.

But is it worth buying right now? Eh, I wouldn't buy it right now. Odds are the NX will be backwards compatible, so you may as just wait and see what happens.

Depends on how strict you define "open world." Defined strictly, I can't think of a single "open world" game that's 100% fully open-world. Even LoZ transitions the player between segregate areas that don't exist on the same map--that there's no big loading screen at the bifurcation is irrelevant. Same for the subsequent top-down Zeldas that pan the camera from small area to small area.

A truly open world would be like... imagine if The Wi...

This is even dumber than the supposed fans questioning whether or not Zelda is "ready" to become an RPG. Since day one, folks. Since day one.

It's amazing how little NIntendo did to improve on 64. They could have at least fleshed out the story a bit more, or tossed in some more missions... but nope.

I very much doubt we'll ever see another good sci-fi flight combat game again. That genre is so very, very dead.

It was the second-person plural "you."

Please give Square-Enix your money. They really, really want it.

"Full development" is a pretty meaningless qualification. And those "three other" FF games were all built with the same assets from the one game that began development prior to 13V/15.
