The game was being developed AS a PS4 game. A PS5 version was added later.
Maybe get some facts, broski.
"We have always felt that we had a responsibility to serve that [PS4] community for several years after the launch of PS5 and that it represented a huge business opportunity for us," Ryan says. "The numbers are quite straightforward. If you say in broad brush figures that we have a community of 100 million PS4 owners right now, and in the first couple of years... I don't know, somewhere between 15 and 25 million might migrate to PS5, that still leaves a huge number of peopl...
FACTS, man. There's just something magical about a run to the video store that can't be replicated.
You mean a man surviving the end of human society surviving in a world where hordes of mutant humans and animals try to eat you, to say nothing of roving bands of murdering rapist raiders, and all while living in denial that his wife was dead despite everyone's insistence to the contrary, MIGHT not be psychologically sound?
GEE, it's almost as if that might actually be intentional...
Am I not getting the joke?
The only "solid" rumor is that it's a Marvel fighting game. Anything beyond that is flimsy. But way too many sources have said NetherRealm is working on a Marvel game for it to be PURE smoke, I'd think.
Well yeah. She was the beginning of the game. The least amount of spoiler-y material was there.

By and large, they still prefer mobile gaming. Hence why the Switch is so monstrously popular.
The death of the traditional gaming console, however, appears to have been exaggerated.
That's... literally part of the genre?
This is like complaining there's too many guys with knives in slasher movies.
No, it's really not a good deal.
If you think it's happening for that price, you really don't understand value.
@343 DOOM 2016 actually went back to the roots of what made the games great in the first place. DOOM 3 was what tried to reinvent the franchise and... well, kinda failed. lol
I don't think people are arguing against trying to make changes or innovate, just in HOW they've tried to do that.
See, this is the one thing about this game not sitting right with me.
Jesse DLC?
Can't really say that I see much point to that other than fleshing out a very, very weak character.
So let me get this straight.
The author admits that he was directly told that both Horizon and God of War here started development as PS4 titles... but he's still trying to spin them being on PS4 as a U-turn?
