The original art work was amazing, this is just kind of sad. It matters not though, I can't wait to play this game. :)
As usual, the US box art has been completely butchered.
Atlus had nothing to do with Odin Sphere outside of localizing it for the US. Vanillaware developed Princess Crown, Odin Sphere, and Muramasa.
NIS has nothing to do with Persona or the rest of the Shin Megami Tensei games, that's Atlus. Either way, I'm excited. :)
Where is Steambot Chronicles 2? It was shown in 2006 in playable form at TGS for the PS2, then at TGS in 2007 it was announced that it had been moved to the PS3 and they had a really great trailer for it. Since then it's vanished without a trace. This is so disappointing.
It really makes me wonder how they felt comfortable releasing the PS3 version in that horrid state. I hardly ever buy 360 multiplats but a choice is hardly being given in this case.
I remember spending countless hours playing Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory online. This news is very disappointing.
Not everybody buys games when they first come out. It's often said that PS3 games have long legs, and it's definitely true. It will sell plenty in time.
This is significantly better than the Xbox 360 boxart, but still mostly unimpressive.
Lost Odyssey definitely won't happen considering that it was published by Microsoft.
Um, that stuff you see in Nanobreaker isn't even blood.
I think context does matter. It's just a word after all.
I think 30fps is fine in Resistance, but Ratchet and Clank has been running at 60fps since the original. It wouldn't be wise to mess with that.
Please don't encourage this... It's bad enough that so many people type that way already.
I have both versions and can safely say that NGS2 is a far better looking game. The amount of on screen enemies has been reduced to preserve the frame rate, which is anything but stable in the original.
This is disappointing. I bought the PS3 version because out of the reviews that I've read, none of them talked about a difference in graphical quality. I'm not bothered if the differences were minimal, but this is rather huge. I tend to buy multiplats for the PS3 unless there's a big problem with it. This is a pretty big problem in my opinion, and shame on the devs for making such a crappy port.
It may look good for a PSP game, but honestly that's not good enough considering the original looked great even by PS3 standards. I'm definitely gonna pick this game up but I can't help but feel that Sega made a mistake here. If they can profit off of about 400k Yakuza sales (which I'm sure cost more to develop than Valkyria Chronicles) then I'm sure they turned a profit with the 500k they got for Valkyria.
After the impact of Final Fantasy XIII in Japan, it's safe to assume that most JRPG's will be developed for the PS3. It only makes sense.
The titles that I'm about to list are Visual Novels that you really should experience. These games have serious and emotional characters with fantastic writing.
Kana Little Sister
Crescendo
Family Project
A Drug That Makes You Dream
Ever 17
I honestly don't care what console this would end up on as long as they do it.
