It baffles me that this game is being made by Western developers. The aesthetics in Phantom Dust are very Japanese, and considering they want to make this a JRPG style game, it only makes sense to have a Japanese team develop the game.
Cavia was developing Cry On before it got cancelled. Cavia's other works include Nier and Drakengard. I'm sure it would have been an emotionally powerful game.
I guess you've never been to the 4chan video game board. It's full of Nintendo fans and they're probably the biggest instigators of console wars on the board.
I'm starting to become worried about Sony. Recently their first party offerings have been mediocre, and now they're trying to pander to SJWs?
Omega Quintet is an RPG. There are videos which show exploration and the turn based battle system. You can even see the "Galapagos RPG" label that the game has 8 seconds into the video. Compile Heart made the Galapagos RPG label to signify that these games are heavily focused on the Japanese market.
Indie development teams are usually very small and only have the resources to develop for one platform at a time.
It's definitely coming West. This kind of game is right up NISA's alley. It's a smutty console RPG from Compile Heart. They've localized practically every other one they've made, they seem to sell, so why stop now?
It's not like it matters. Sega wouldn't bring over any shining games anyway. No shining, Yakuza, Valkyria, or Phantasy Star. At least we'll always have Sonic. Oh, and Hatsune Miku.
Finished the game today and really enjoyed it. However, the visuals are extremely weak and the performance is far from good. Frame rate drops happen regularly and are very noticeable.
Just a few months ago I saw that he had over 7 million subscribers. Now in such a short time it shot up to almost 12 million. I just can't believe it. How are people this shamelessly stupid?
They reskinned Neptunia again. Compile Heart continues to damage the genres reputation.
The art direction is fantastic. The character models and animations are pretty lacking, however. Falcom is going through 3D growing pains.
He attacked Fish for not responding to Game Informer. Fish had a legitimate reason not to. He basically said Fish didn't respond because he was an asshole. Is that not slander?
I never liked Fish, but there was no need for the blatant slander against him by what's his face. I would have been royally pissed off as well.
A woman? lol
Without a doubt.
Are you implying that it ever mattered?
Truth be told, I'd be surprised if this even sells a few thousand copies. Few people cared about it before, and even fewer care about it now. Factor in the download only release and it's a sure recipe for disaster.
The Order is not a good game. I rented and played through the entire thing. It has some of the worst pacing I've ever seen in a video game. When you try too hard to merge the cinematics in with the gameplay, it yields poor results. The Order has long cutscenes coupled with forced walking sections which require little more out of you then going from point A to point B and pressing triangle next to a trigger point. The shootouts, which are the sections where the The Order does try to be a v...
