I thought Shadows of the Damned was pretty damn good. I generally dislike Suda 51 games because of the horrible gameplay but thankfully Shinji Mikami was there. I plan on purchasing Child of Eden when it releases for PS3.
Damn good looking games. Hoping for a much more timely localization, unlike that other Tales game that we're still waiting on.
It seems like Tales of Vesperia never gets the respect it deserves. It was head and shoulders above Lost Odyssey.
On the contrary, the game is targeted towards male otaku. The game is populated with pretty anime girls for a reason. The Atelier series used to be completely tame though. It seems like each new installment brings more fan service. I wonder how much longer it will take before it's on par with Ar Tonelico's creep factor.
While I agree the Wii does have much better exclusives than the Xbox 360, saying it has better exclusives than the PS3 is a big stretch.
Shadows of the Damned deserves better sales. I guess that's what happens when you create a game that falls out of gamer's comfort zones.
I was interested until I saw "Kinect". I should have known better.
I don't like either one of them. The dark, lonely, subtle box art for the Japanese version is perfect.
This is why I hate Nintendo's American branch.
That's some of the most obnoxious aliasing I've ever seen. The PS2 version was jaggy but this takes it to a new extreme.
This game has a great battle system and the planet hopping was fun. The story and characters were among the worst out of this generation's JRPGs. It's probably the worst Star Ocean out of the bunch all things considered.
I hope it's something Tales related.
I knew this was going to happen when they said they were going modern, but this is far worse than what I had imagined.
It's one of the best games I've played this year. Valve is phenomenal at crafting single player campaigns. They understand how to pace a game better than just about any other dev.
It sure looks a lot better, but this Compile Heart we're talking about. There's little to no chance this game will amount to shit.
I hope this one is at least decent. The first one is an unplayable mess.
In the end the rating is meaningless. Is there any word on how this game plays? Does it actually let you explore or is it on rails? If it's the latter then I don't see any reason to get excited over this. Kinect has yet to show me that it's a capable hardcore gaming peripheral.
This game is outstanding. Even Yakuza 3 didn't hook me like this one currently is.
A little presumptuous are we? I couldn't care less if a game has lolis in it or not. In fact, I think a dominant female cast is a death threat to 90% of RPGs. Another thing, I also got really bored with Rorona since it was little more than repeated fetch quests.
is the 3DS incapable of AA? The game would look so much better if the edges weren't so jaggy.
