There is no reason why my comment should have been considered spam or inappropriate. I used no insults, merely showed how the general consensus is that this game is not nearly as significant as Mario 64 or Half Life Alyx. I even said the game is probably good. Approving this comment being labeled as inappropriate or spam is merely allowing the community to remain an echo chamber and rewards poor discourse between the community.
I really hope this site gets revamped. It real...

I see all reviews that are 7s have way less traffic (practically none) in comparison to the two reviews that are way higher. Interesting. I think I can guess why

Starfox wasnt a platformer. It also wasnt just the power of the N64 that made the game critically acclaimed but the gameplay itself. The PS1 had been around for two years and no platformer played as well in that time as Mario 64 did when it came out. The hardwares allow for gameplay possibilities, but it's the developers that have to create it as something actually defining. This game isnt universally acclaimed and most other reviewers don't suggest it...

And a load of reviewers haven't given it anywhere near that type of praise. Singling out two reviewers and ignoring (or flat out disagreeing) with all the reviews that contraindicate that position is confirmation bias. Pure and simple.
No I'm not playing Nintendo's labor VR because it sucks. What does that have to do with Horizon: Call of the Mountain?
I don't see why someone would compare leaps in game play like what we saw with Alyx and Mario 64 to something that was just talking about PSVR2. I feel like that would be a bad comparison, because the suggestion is that it's changed and redefined VR gaming in a significant way that all should follow. Because tha...

That would be met with universal praise. The OP also said it was "up there" with half life Alyx.
I also think it's funny I'm being critiqued for showing how that's not the case because the "game isn't out"...yet OP is being agreed with for what he is saying despite the game not being out. So we are all using reviews to justify our ideas, but you all think mine is unreasonable or missing the point. Bias at it...

Yeah because many critics have already provided their reviews. Sure a dozen or so may still flow in, but it's not going to get close to the score of half life Alyx. It will only move a couple of points at best from here, so 77-81 meta.
Doesn't make it a bad game in any way shape or form. Clearly this reviewer thinks it's incredible in his opinion. But the suggestion that it's up there with defining games like Mario 64 or Alyx is j...

Mario 64 and Half Life Alyx have garnered much more universal praise than Horizon: Call of the Mountain. This seems like a good game, but critically it doesn't seem on the level with Mario 64 and Half-Life: Alyx. Since you want links

Love how when you bring up games like The Last of Us, Demon Souls, Shadow of the Colossus, or Diablo 2 being listed for the same or more than Metroid Prime and using the same technique (i.e. having the base code and building off of that) nobody has an actual argument. Just slam that disagree button boys!
Yeah, that was also a great remaster project. That doesn't make Metroid Prime the bare minimum.
@raidernation
Okay, Bioshock wasn't remade in anyway. Crash and Spyro trilogy were. Those were excellent value. It wasnt too long ago that Sony put out Shadow of the Colossus remaster for $40, and that was still a great product.
Luckily, there has been some time since SteamDeck launched, so Switch 2 should be pretty comparable. I'd expect less RAM overall (10-12gb vs 16gb) since optimizations can aid in reducing overall RAM requirements for consoles.
That said, you are absolutely right. Nintendo will prioritize battery life and heat management where possible. DLSS will be the saving grace for games on the big screen. But I have a feeling the docking situation will be a bit different this time ...
This is exactly why the agree/disagree needs to be vastly altered. You guys just disagree with facts because it goes against your fanboy narratives. No reasoning, no logic. Just smash the disagree button and feel better about your plastic boxes.
"biased media". My god. Yeah everyone picks on poor Sony! 🙄
VGChartz wasnt "exposed". They try their best to calculate based on information they get from retailers. Without regular updates from Sony and Nintendo it's easy to get off track. MS doesn't report numbers, so it's much easier for them to be off on those numbers. It has nothing to do with bias or them choosing MS over Sony.
My biggest complaints with PSVR 1 were it's low resolution (games like Blood and Truth were more difficult when aiming because of the low resolution) and the fact that there was very little actual movement, just like a one foot box basically. Both of those limitations are solved with PSVR2. So I'm probably going to get it at some point

IMO collectors editions are typically scams anyway. Hardly ever worth the price. Just a way to cobble up some extra revenue.
Yeah, I like steel books but definitely not for this price. I'm just going with the basic.

@neutralgamer
Yeah, other companies have remade trilogies. Many companies haven't. Recent examples of remade or remastered games that were not trilogies or $40
-The Last of Us
-Crisis Core
-Demon Souls
-Crash Team Racing
-Trials of Mana
-Shadow of the Colossus
-Diablo 2

They literally just released Metroid Prime Remastered which is a complete visual remake of the game for $40...bare minimum yeah right
