If they fix the stuff wrong with the first which were mostly stupid design choices and add more multiplayer modes this game could be decent. But if Timegate were smart they should price this as a $20 downloadable game, with a training/onslaught mode which could be played cooperatively and just copy Battlefield on the multiplayer side (conquest, rush, deathmatch, CTF and Titan) they would sell a couple million copies. But this is Timegate after all and there track record is not that great

First off, the PC is not the lead platform, the 360 is. It says so clear as day in the same Shacknews interview this article links too. And there is nothing wrong with GFWL, some actually prefer it over Steam. Relic just chose the more popular software solution. The PS3 and PC versions of this game will be port of the 360 version because Relic is aiming this game directly at the Gears of War crowd

First 3d Realms is not dead, far from it, they just let go the DNF team and have given up on in house development.
- 3d Realms gave the production right for Prey 2 to Radar Group, another company started by Scott Miller who is still the CEO of 3d Realms.

He is just mad that Valve and Gearbox started around the same time and Valve has become an industry leader while Gearbox keeps comings up short. I most Gabe will ever give up is that the games are still in production and that Valve will give more info when they are ready.

Sony just did the same thing with Ghostbusters.
The developers said that the game will launch on the PC and 360 then come out later on the PS3. MS did not pay for the exclusive it is just that they need for time to work of the PS3 version
Valve do not release Steam sales, and they sold a ton copies through Steam. The number is most likely closer to 3.5-4 million, which makes it a major success.
