Last time I looked at the cry egnine on consoles I thought it was a bit meh (I think it was around the time I started playing Killzone 2 which is probably why), but those videos are amazing. The streamlined workflow they're showing there could convert thousands of collectively wasted hours into design polish. Brilliant.
Visually in those videos I think it's looking pretty awesome too now.
some insecure PS3 fans getting defensive when they don't need to be.
some insecure 360 fans trying to taunt PS3 fans because it makes them feel better.
just a whole lot of fanboys making noise about nothing really.
Valve has never been, and probably never will be, a tipping point in the so called console war. Talk it up all you want based on their PC success (namely HL, CS), but at the end of the day valve is a small player in console land.
It's fanboys in general.
It's kinda hilarious but also so incredibly dumb.
You iPhone haters are funny.
The article doesn't say iPhone will replace or takeover another platform, just that it's stepping up as a big player.
Frankly, if you deny that's happening, it's just wishful thinking.
iPhone is the Wii of handhelds. It's making fast progress to corner the casual market, and the top games in the iPhone sell copies in the millions just like any other gaming platform.
Flamebait 'expected' to increase ridiculous fanboy arguments by 90 percent
Absolutely brilliant.
:D
To be honest, sandbox games piss me off.
Give me Fat Princess god dammit!
No, it couldn't.
At E3 next year, you will see more Natal software announced, and perhaps get a release date.
Why would this need to be patented?
Who else would run PS2 emulation on cell processors?
God damn SE! Do you have ADD or what?
Just get your existing ones finished.
cloud gaming has nothing to offer anyone who's into FPS or action games.
Turn-based RPGs might be alright.
I've never understood why anyone thinks this game is a PS3 exclusive...
On Team Bondi's own web site the game is listed "for next gen consoles".

I like the numbers in this article...very interesting.
Every year, 8 or 9 titles are announced, but only three or four make it.
The PS3 has been out for about two and a half years, so that's 22 AAA titles that were announced, with only 10 having been released, according to the author's maths.
so TWELVE AAA titles were either canceled or are late...what are they? I'd lo ve to know.
Kinda makes it sound like natal is geared for the next Xbox rather than the current one...
Yet again, Microsoft "steals the show" with an item they'll still be talking about next E3.
In fact, there may even be three E3s between FFXIII news and an actual game to play. Kinda hilarious.
Not that the other keynotes were all that great.
I call meh on all three motion offerings until there's actual damn game that looks interesting for mo...
Yaaaay
and soon afterwards, the tech will be sold to third world druglords!
Party time!
Guys these days...
Always with the claims.
Everyone's opinion is stupid except mine and only a RETARD would think the console I don't own would run anything better than the console I do own because it's the one I bought and therefore it's better than anything else as proven right here in this wall of text.
My console of choice is better and you should buy one because I did.
You're reading this on the internet so you know it's true.
Are you guys blind?
The game is not very graphically impressive at all. Watch the video again, and compare it to...I guess Gears 2? Seriously.
Poor shadows, plenty of low res looking stuff, characters are woody and don't move well. Animation looks like stock standard clips, doesn't blend, etc... SERIOUSLY, I mean come on...
I will say though, the light vs dark gameplay element looks awesome. Once the video got to that point where it showed the action ori...
