Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your post, but Pinnacle Station is the name of the DLC. The review is from IGN.

I don't see the need for Ocarina of Time to be dethroned, the proverbial throne is large enough for any game that manages to catch the feeling that OoT had, which was that of timelessness. The game was enjoyable from the beginning, to the end, all the way between and even after.

Just in the Zelda series, at least two other games managed to have that as well; Majora's Mask and A Link to the Past. Of the three, I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite, even if I wanted to.

Possibly for the reasons I stated above.

Also take into account that Blizzard's design boss Rob Pardo recently said:

"If we wanted to make a good console game, I’d hope that we could dominate their too. It’s something that we always think about, because we’re all big console gamers."

"I play tons of console games, and I would love to make a console game, but we really try to come up with games that we really want to make, and then try...

Well, besides the "Next-Gen" part (which could in truth just be marketing language for "better than previous games") there are other things hinting at console releases;

"Software Engineer, Audio - Next-Gen MMO" under plusses: "Mac and/or game console programming experience".

"Lead 3D Environment Artist - Next-Gen MMO" under plusses: "Have shipped AAA PC or console titles as a lead 3D environment artist"

Or better yet.

Say someone somehow forgets to check their groups Gamer tags/PSN ID in order to avoid the <insert hated brand>-flu and such. Then they have a perfect gaming session, with good communication, teamwork and whatnot. At the end it is revealed that foul play has taken place, that the different brands have had contact through the medium of networking.

Would the players quickly turn off their machines and run for the showers? Or would they perhaps, aga...

Assuming that Blizzard are sticking with Battle.net, this could very well be the first PS3 <-> 360 crossplatform game.

Stuff like this is actually doing people a great favour; showing how worthless so-called "journalists" that report these things, just so they can say afterwards "we said it first!", are.

Sadly, that's most of journalism today.

As much as I dislike the idea of digital-only, with it's fundamental flaws and implications, I think people need to take a step back and look at the whole thing again.

Even "mainstream" technology makes considerably big leaps on year to year basis, not even taking into account military technology and such, what is possible is not really limited by technology as much as some seem to think.

If there is demand for internet connections, and some incentives from...

Can we pretend for a second that there is some responsibility involved? If people buy for or sell to children such games, the fault lies elsewhere than the existence of said games.

Rape and child pornography games are easy to take a stand against, but I can guarantee you that it will not be your moral high ground that decides what else people are not fit to see.

"Think of the children" is getting so old when it is constantly used to take away their freedom,...

"An evil exists that threatens every man, woman, and child of this great nation. We must take steps to ensure our domestic security and protect our homeland."

For those not familiar with that quote, consider if you agree with it, then look up who said it and what followed.

Saying that someone who is against censorship is for rape, is like saying that someone who is against the all the recent wars is for terrorism. In esseance, saying that if you don't accep...

Yes, like me. I was the one asking for it, wasn't I?

I think they should include both NVGs and REAL flashbangs, the two mix really well. Especially in the hands of stupid people.

Played all those games except Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, and while I definetly agree that most belong on a great games list, the lack of Planescape Torment is dissapointing to me, that game should be right up there with Baldur's Gate II for 1st place.

Gothic 1 and 2 (not 3) should also definetly be on the list, the open world exploration and faction system in those games is just awesome.

But well, such lists are always subjective.

But we're not talking about real rape here, that is the whole point. Also, censoring the existence of something does not make it go away either.

Between fictional rape (anything) and censorship? I'd say censorship is the greater "sin", infinitely so.

"Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

Edit:

This very article actually illustrates perfectly ...

Uh-oh, hopefully the media doesn't get hold of these screenshots, the one used for the N4G story totally looks like it could possibly potentially maybe be followed by a fully frontal nudity hardcore porn scene.

I understand your point, but I honestly think it is a case of doing the right thing (subjective) wrongly. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" etc.

Of course rape is a bad thing, but so is censorship. And in this case it's real censorship vs. fictional rape. Sure, the game could give people ideas and whatnot, but it is purely information.

Information alone never has been, is not, and never will be dangerous, except to people wishing power over ...

Depends of which side of "over-seas" you mean, but it's soccer in Europe at least.

Agreed, good site, and good podcast as well .

While I wish there were a lot more coop games, especially local coop, they do make some very valid points as to why some games are better off without coop.

They could fix this "issue" easily by having both 360 and "720" achievement points in your profile, as separate numbers, and then perhaps a subtotal.

People who really want to compete for highest points on some leader board can look at total points, or if they joined at a later console generation at least compete for that one separately.
