A friend of mine does this all the time. What's worse, a lot of the time he'll buy them again a month or two later, and he'll trade them in once more.

You'd be surprised. Bethesda has made a lot of bad games actually, like Home Alone on the NES. Check their track record on Wikipedia; it's funny to see how varied their gameography is.

...but hoping for the best. There hasn't been a good Batman game for almost exactly 20 years. If they can pull it off, that would be great. Right now, I remain skeptical.

MAG: Shadow War would be even sillier.

but I agree that the PS2 is TECHNICALLY the best.

400MSP was the norm and 800MSP was considered far too expensive. Bankshot Billiards being released at 1200MSP was just madness. Now 800MSP is the norm. Funny how far we've come (although games have gotten MUCH, MUCH better on XBLA so price increase doesn't surprise me).

Anyhow, back to the topic at hand, Flock on XBLA is priced the same as Flock on PC. Puzzle Quest on XBLA costs the same as Puzzle Quest on PC. Not surprising. Keep in mind another thing about Puzzle Quest, the fi...

But at the end of the vid, for those who didn't catch it, it says Game Informer 4.16.09 reversed, so we'll get more info soon enough.

I got the first one for $11 and I thought it was alright for that price. It's repetitive, but it's not abysmal. I think the sequel has potential to be much, much better.

In other news at the end of the teaser, for those who were wondering, the reversed text confirms we'll be getting more info in Game Informer on the 16th.

It's funny you mention combat for Shattered Memories because, according to the Nintendo Power preview, Climax have decided to remove combat from the game entirely. Weird, huh?

The only thing holding back 0rigins in my opinion is the terrible combat system. It's still a good game, but it could have been a lot better. I like it more than Homecoming, that's for sure.

I really recommend fewer late night sessions of dropping acid and reading the National Enquirer.

I keep the Zombie Survival Guide by my bed every night just in case there's a zombie apocalypse. I use my time in Resident Evil 2 and 3 as training for slow zombies in urban environments, Left 4 Dead as training for fast zombies in urban environments, Resident Evil 1 is my close quarters training, and I put Dawn of the Dead as my mall training initiation video and Dead Rising as field experience.

Zombies are serious business, the military confirms this. Prepare today!

Fear is a very subjective thing. Different things scare different people. I played the entire game in co-op by the way, and I didn't have any issues with ammo or healing items.

Eh... It's not really survival anymore, either. Lots of enemies sometimes doesn't really make it about survival. What made the classic REs about survival to me was managing items, judging if using x weapon to kill y zombie was really worth it in the long run, and avoiding damage like my life literally depended on it. I ran out of ammo far more often in Killzone 2 than I did in RE5 and healing items are in every other room.

Why would they suddenly change an RPG series to something else entirely? Makes absolutely no sense. The games sell great as they are, that'd risk their future success. If anything, I think he's alluding to more sidegames like Pub Games.

Off-topic, but my anti-virus detected a virus on this webpage when I clicked the link. Don't know what's up with that, not trying to make accusations, but I thought I'd throw out the warning just in case.

I don't want a DSi quite yet, but it has some really cool features. Once there's some DSi "exclusive" games, I could see myself springing for a third DS. I just hope it's cheaper by then...

I've never played an MMO before, but one set in the Fallout universe has day 1 purchase written all over it as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully since it's Interplay it'll be more Fallout 1 and 2 and less like 3 (not that I don't like 3...).
