SOAD -- this article is intentionally spoiler free, Hilary couldn't elaborate even if he wanted to. EDIT: nvm
Anyway, at 2 - there are two major plot holes I noticed while playing the game.
SPOILERS
Seriously, spoilers
Ethan's black outs are never properly explained. Yes, he had crowd anxiety, but that doesn't explain why he'd wake up several hours later with an origami figure in his hand, nor does it explain his supposed dreams of children ...
...but this article is correct. You are a casual gamer if you like Zelda. I tried playing this kiddie series at my friends house and I literally turned into a 5 year old in the process. First of all, lets get to the graphics, they weren't even in HD. What kind of garbage is that? HD stands for Hardcore Definition. If I'm not playing on my Dad's 50" plasma in 1080p then I'm just playing casual, like on a DS or PSP or something (lame kindergartener stuff).
But that doesn't ma...
Keep in mind these are the guys behind Hitman, and the first Hitman game wasn't really that great either. However, that series has turned into something seriously awesome IMO. It really does suck about Gerstmann, but I do really like how Giant Bomb is coming along so it's not all bad (I guess?).
Weird teaser, btw.
Not going to comment on the controversy myself, but Louis CK has a hilarious bit that I find extremely topical for this situation:

You have sex with your friends in the dark?
Yeah, I would recommend queuing it off Xbox.com like I did.

Link for US version.
I played it for about 20 minutes and had a blast; seems like it was well worth the $15 from what I played.
This game is so borked it's not even funny.
Surprising and not surprising at the same time. Great game though, I might buy it again on the PSP if the additions are worth it.

World map...? Please?! :(
Already own both of them, but this is nice nonetheless.
Steam is a gamer's best friend.
Yeah, I agree. I'm enjoying the game a lot, but I'm disappointed with the lack of items that, to me, were staples of the series (pool tables, hot tubs [wtftwftwftwf], pianos, etc). I really hope they don't try and sell them to me via microtransactions. :(
It's definitely not a lot to go on but I'm getting a real Bourne feel from this poster.
People are trying to fit together Raiden and a young looking Big Boss, but why do they have to? Perhaps, half of the game will take place in the past as Big Boss and the other half will fill in the story of Raiden pre-4, and they'll converge to tie up some loose ends we didn't know about. MGS4 was split into several chapters, so why can't this?
Just brainstorming, I guess. Wish I could read the damn Famitsu article...
I think Microsoft's conference is next Monday, but they're doing it a day before E3 "officially" kicks off for some reason. Whatever.
Anyway, I'm really curious to see what else HVS' engine can do. Consider me interested.
Nah, I doubt it. Trico is just a placeholder name. Shadow of the Colossus was originally dubbed Project Nico. Ni = 2 in Japanese. This will get a real name soon.
Awesome screens! Excitement at critical.
Sounds like a euphemism for a male orgasm.
Wasn't OoT going to be in first person during the early planning stages? I'm glad they decided against it.
Commenting. Tower D is where it's at.
