Thank you! I was trying to remember off the top of my head, and even on that number that's not counting the Stratigem weapons either.
Let's talk about those cons since you don't elaborate any of them...
Discourages solo-play
How? The battle pass does not discourage that, though the games balance does because it is brutal to solo missions.
Lack of variety at launch
This I can give you, the game has about 8 guns at launch with more on the way, but I ask this... Is this due to the battle pass? Or do you just want all the things unlocked by default?
Bubba got it going on!
I can't comment on the "remake" aspect as I never played 3, didn't like tank controls even back then.
But as far as the remake goes as a game, I've got like 40 hours in it and played it far more then the 2 remake. I absolutely enjoyed the combat engine and dodge mechanic.
Everything is a trade off on fixed / older hardware. The PC can do this because new hardware hits the market very quickly due to the modular nature.
The PS5 running this game with RT shadows, reflections and AO is possible... but what do you lower to free up that extra power to get that result? And is it worth the trade off's required? Lower resolution is an easy one, but then do people want to see their game dynamically drop to 540p? lower fidelity such as texture qual...
I just want Gravity Rush 1+2 on PC...
This is a good use of a demo, get it out earlier so you can do proper changes. I enjoy the demo but it had problems, most of which are currently being reevaluated by the team. So good work!
Ubisoft is strange for bragging about number of studios. But really collaborate for tons of stuff. 1,000 people worked on Assassins Creed Origins, but only 300 internal devs. MS have claimed (late last year) that AAA games have grown to take the efforts of multiple studios.
I'd imagine it's getting help with world building, side quest design and such but the core mechanics amd story still stay internal all the way.
Basically exactly what Bioware has been for a while now...
I don't see them doing it, they are starting to support Steam now and with the Steam Deck, Ayaneo, OnexPlayer, and now the ROG Ally... Why should Sony invest in the market when it's already crowded by very strong players?
I just want Co-op in the Mercs mode.
Very fun game as an action shooter, with some really cool ideas in the combat.
Terrible Resident Evil game though.
They removed the 20 minute timer from the RE2 Remake, and Capcom still making demo's, highly doubt they truly care.
Hard disagree, I'm not going to say preorder their games, but voting with your wallet also means supporting their good projects just like not supporting the ones with bad practices.
I don't know if this game is good or bad obviously, but if it's hailed as a 10/10 GOTY, supporting those kinds of games is how you send the right message to the team.
I'd really like another Drakengard game first.
I loved RE6, the story was pretty good and the gameplay was really fun.
But it was NOT a horror game and barely a Resident Evil game.
No weapon durability system has been as good as Way of the Samurai 1 & 2. (Don't know if they changed it after that so I'm only speaking to what I've played. )
I'm kind of settling on remasters being unchanged aside from graphics, resolution, and such.
Remakes are when you do a full rebuild, like Resident Evil 2, 3, 4, Final Fantasy VII. Gameplay, story even can be tweaked or changed entirely.
But every company seems to have a different opinion as to what a Remake and a Remaster is.
I mean... This is the easiest case to prove ever. They have development files updated on the daily showing it's still being worked on so this really is kinda funny but also very common.
Gamingsince1981
What about the regions that can't create PSN accounts? The game was being sold there, people were playing the game from there and suddenly they would have lost the ability to play the game.
