I don't understand why Gamespot would make this move. It just seems like a bad one. Firing a reviewer for giving his honest but harsh opinion?
It just makes them look like they were paid for all their reviews now.
I expect to see some sort of comment from Gamespot later explaining a little more.

You can mute anyone on XBL using your recent players list. Simply select them, then select block or mute. Simple.

Guess they haven't learned from Gears yet. UI for the online aspect of the game kinda blew hard. Hopefully they fix for 360 version although I doubt it'll be any different.

Actually I've got some FPS buddies who loved Oblivion and have already pre-ordered ME.
A lot of people love RPG's. It's not really my cup of joe though.
I'm sure they pay attention to the internets and see all those angry Ps3 gamers and are trying to get back on their good side. Probably Sony too.
