If your telling the truth, that is pretty weak. I mean, a customer service rep would be someone to see first-hand any hardware problems. If what he said is true the PS3 fanboys have been pretty good at using their online forum-power to spread lies.

I agree that Sony is being tricky. You can't deny that they were using brand recognition to try and sell PS3's equipped with BR into every home. That is where they would have made more money than they could ever dream. But they tripped up somewhere along the way and forgot about the consumer, and are now paying the price. PS3 is a great peice of hardware for the money, but I don't think that people should be forced to adopt a format just because it's on their console.

A party system in GOW would have been dank, especially after I figured Halo 2 would have set the standard. It's ridiculously hard to play games with friends sometimes on Gears. So they better fix it in UT3, because I'm probably buying it.

Ps3 has no chance at winning this console war. Unless they come out with some spectacular software, but without a price cut it still probably won't justify spending $600 when I already am happy with my xbox 360.

Dude thats insane if your telling the truth. I've got a launch 360 and have never had a problem. None of my friends or anyone I know personally has ever had a problem with their 360. Maybe it's regional. But one things for sure, if you really went through 5 360's, you have to be doing something wrong man. I mean do you play your 360 inside your oven?

ps3 is on the slight rise, and if it's doing that well right now, in a few months with some great games comin out it could really take off. the elite fell like a brick though eh? no.228 down from no. 3 the week earlier? yea nobody wanted an elite.

Sony and every other big corporation probably does the same crap. But nonetheless it's pretty funny. I don't care if huge corporations lose profits, they should be re-imbursing the consumer that may have lost cash money when their hardware fails, and maybe showing that they care. (PS2's failing, 360's failing, Sony's horrible electronics quality- I've heard so many stories of brand new equipment from Sony crapping out in a few months.)
