BiA has always been one the best if not THE best ww2 shooter series out there.
now they have topnotch graphics to expand on the great gameplay.

I have high hopes. But we'll see. Has the potential to be great...but then again the BF series has been on a steady decline since BF42, the first one.
Main thing I'm excited about is seeing how expansive the destructible environments are and what kind of impact this can have on gameplay (online).

Besides, GTA was never that pretty. It was the awesome sh!t you could do in the games. And this one looks pretty good IMO.
Everyone agrees that Treyarch fails at creating a stellar title. Seriously. Unless they come up with something highly innovative to stir new life into the genre (WHICH I HIGHLY DOUBT), I'm not looking twice at this one.
Bad move Activision. Read the boards. Make a good decision. Don't put Treyarch in charge of the next title. Otherwise you deserve to fail.

I could give a sh!t over whether or not the Ps3 will catch up or not. It's got great games and that isn't changing, so it isn't going anywhere.
But my console of choice ATM is the 360. It will remain so as long as I'm a broke college student, and until the Ps3 releases it's heavy hitters such as MGS4 & Killzone 2.

NGS looks like an Xbox game, while NG2 looks sharper with better lighting and effects.
Cant really say whether it deserves it as I haven't had the chance to play it.
