I've been playing NFS since the 90s. Hot Pursuit 2010 is easily one of the best in the series and is in my personal top 3 in the series. Critical reception was some of the highest in the series history and it sold very well as well, which is probably why this remaster is one of the first in the series history to be done.

Somehow, both Tony Hawk's Pro Skater AND Skate are revived. 2020 has been a crazy year.
They basically turned that into Wu-Tang Shaolin Style. The game was almost as violent as Thrill Kill if you input a code to uncensor it.
I loved the first two BO games but Treyarch has had awful hitreg since WaW at least lol. Sometimes it's just outright baffling
For whatever reason, EON doesn't want to license the IP out to have more games made. A shame, since there are plenty potential studios who would make great games given the chance.
These sales are getting quite ridiculous. I've purchased well over 20 games in the past month alone just because they've been on insane flash sales for dirt cheap, and more and more sales keep popping up out of nowhere!
Well they did Half-Life: Source a good while ago. It was a complete disaster, but they still did it.
Def Jam Vendetta and FFNY are still hella fun games, but I'd imagine they'd be licensing nightmares to try to re-release 😩

The game is legitimately awful though. Don't let blind nostalgia hype get in the way of reality.
I didn't spend a lot of time on it, but SF's multi-player was easily the best part of the game. It was fun and well made, a shame it didn't have a lot of players due to being marketed badly.

Hot Pursuit 2010 wasn't a remake of anything. It was just a return to the series roots before it became almost exclusively centered around Fast & Furious style street racing.
