Bro, thats less than minimum wage.
I'm confused by this. CD Projekt owns both CD Projeckt Red and GOG.com don't they? Not sure why they need a second store.
*Disregard, its a Merch store.
I'm jealous of all you guys with 8k displays that can see this in full resolution....still looks 1080p to me.
What about E.T. for Atari?
I don't play Fortnite, but I don't understand how this is Sony's issue? Epic owns the account, why would Sony have any say whatsoever about which other platforms that account could be used on? Its not theirs to control. How could they even modify the account themselves to block other systems? Seems Epic would be up in arms about that if thats what they are doing. Its like if Sony said I couldn't watch my netflix account on my firestick if I also used it on my PS...
Half-Life
Its a pc game...
Dude's just being a Hayter.
Well then at least you got something!
Looks like what?
Duke Nukem 3D and Duke Nukem Forever?
No, but seriously.
I have to disagree entirely with you. There is no reason this would raise hardware prices, there will not be any one company making these boxes, but will be available for any manufacturer, think of something similar to the android platform. The best thing that this could cause would be to have base point for standardizing pc hardware. Of course you can build a bigger better rig if you want, but developers will start making sure that at least on basic settings these boxes will run their gam...
Well, the main reason this game looks as good as it does is because everything is a pre-rendered still. There are some movie overlays in areas, but as far as movement is concerned, you click from one still image to another and nothing is actually rendered in realtime like you would see in a modern first person game. Don't get me wrong, its a good game- I did play it in its entirety, though that was back in 1993 when it was first released.
Yeah, I'm really not sure why it took that long, but it really was over 12 hours. I know on my pc I can get a steady speed of just over 3MB/sec (hardwired), though the PS3 is connected via wireless downstairs. I didn't see the actual download rate, but I just chalked it up to the update host server being very slow...
I finally just picked up GT5 yesterday. I popped the disk in around 7pm and began updating...Truth be told, whatever server they were sending the data from seemed pretty slow, but the game was ready to play after just over 12 hours...
If they expect to have anyone actually take advantage of this, they better offer some pretty competitive pricing-- Go look on ebay for how much a used iPhone 4 sells for- over $350. Not bad considering if you got one with a plan you only paid a couple hundred for it.
Actually, the term is aliasing-- "jaggies" is used by people who don't know what they are talking about.
In his defense, it was stated in the title that he had some level of caring :p
As an old PC gamer who plays PS4 quite a bit as well - When Steam first came out everyone was up in arms about the online DRM and digital downloads. I bought mostly physical games but the occasional digital game when Steam had a good sale. 16 year later, guess what- I don't know where a single disk I ever owned is now, but I have a Steam library with hundreds of games I don't even have time to play. So much for physical copies (my own bad, I know). For me at least, I see PS goin...
