Athough i do admit that pc gaming is not as it used to be (mainly due to piracy), but saying that it is dying is just ignorant. There are still many people online playing COD, crysis, l4d, css, wc3, BF etc.......
And there are still ignorant people who thinks you need a $$MONSTER$$$$ rig to run most games on PC. That is totally ignorant BS, Even on medium setting games looks better on PC then their console counter parts. You could argue that the couch and plasma is a more comfor...
lol, i know a few friends whos gonna be so pissed about this...hes been looking forward to gow 3 since he got his ps3... Australia would've had a R18 rating by now if it wasn't for certain politicians who was against it.

i'm not a fan of splinter cell, but if i wanted i can just get it on the superior pc version and play it in true HD +, max aa, max AF and if i wanted i can hook it up to my HDTV and play using a 360 controller :D, guess your not missing anything if you own a decent pc.

I compltely agree, that is also how i feel about L4D,
It's like counter strike, Highly addictive But overly repetitive until the modders got thier hands on it and made skins, maps and mods. But guess what Vavle never charged full price for the newer versions of Counter strike, infact it was free bundled with Half life 2 when the source engine was created, or 20 bucks on steam as a standalone.(CS:S)

DX10 is more better optimize in certain games and has better dynamic lighting for all DX10 games. Crysis for example, if you play using DX10 and walk through the jungle you will see beautiful particle lighting shining through each leaf and tree branch. You really can't tell much different in just screen shots. You need to be playing at full motion video to really experience it.
