1080p regardless if it is coming from a blu-ray disk or a downloaded file (such as quicktime movie trailers) looks 10 times better than DVD. If you can't tell the differece then what else could you be missing out on in this world? That is a scarey thought.

Don't hate a company for pushing the envelope. There is nothing wrong with advancing technology. It is not all about trying to get people to trade in their current model for a new set. Sony has to advance because if they don't they will no longer be at the top. If they didn't create the technology someone else would and believe me all the major players have thei own 240hz version in the work...
I agree it should have got straight 10s, but it is sad and unfortunate that most of the reviewers 360s were in the shop being repaired!
I agree with what you said except the PS3 would not be on the rocks.

I just don't get it. Even though it is the Joker I still see that trade mark stiff animation that Mortal Kombat is known for. Where is the variety. Do all the characters have to share the same leg sweep and punch animation?

So if Sony or the developers is going to decide what regional levels are worthy to play they are still going back on the initial design of the game. The community was suppose to decide what were the best levels by the most played. Now it will be broken down by region and then the developer decides what is a worthy level? That is taking half the fun out of the game, is it not?

The game is called "Little Big Planet" right? Well if they cripple the game like this they really need to change the name to "Little Big Country" or just "Small Country In A Big World".

With Virtua Fighter, Street Fighters, Soul Caliburs, Mortal Kombats all on or coming to the 360 it is about time that they admit there is a problem and fix it.

Downloads won't be effective due to the lack of HD sizes. Bluray is their enemy.

I think that because blu-ray hasn't caught on as fast as DVD did that we will see it in the PS4. That and downloaded content will be the way Sony will distribute it's services. I really don't see any other format taking off anytime soon. DVD are just stating to be dirt cheap. It will take longer for blu-ray to reach those $4.99 to $6.99 specials.
