if you look at gamerankings.com they have posted that 1up gave Resistance 2 an 8.5 not an 8.3.
So what's going on? How do we know for sure what 1up's B+ stands for in numbers?
This reminds of when metacritic turned Variety's review of LBP into an 8/10.
Some of these things need to be exmplained to me. How does Metacritic know that 1up gave Resistance an 8.3? All I have is B+.

Both Resistance 2 and Gears of War 2 are badass.
I know Fanboys will fight, and that's cool. That's what true hardcore gamers do.
But if you step outside of your fanboyism for a second, you would see that both these games are badass in their own way. It's like fighting what's better Pizza or Hamburgers.
They are both great, it just depends what you're up to that day.
I'm sure Resistance 2 will also get a pretty high score 9/10 or above.
Both Resistance 2 and Gears of War 2 are great games. I can't deny Gears of War 2 is good just because I'm a PS3 fan.
I won't be playing Gears of War 2, because I have a PS3 and Resistance 2 is my Gears of War 2. But I know Gears of War is also badass.
The bottom line is, they turned their back on next gen gaming.
360 fans shouldn't be bragging either. Microsoft has dropped a sh*t load of money for games over there, and their console can manage a mere 7k a week.
Numbers for both the PS3 and 360 in Japan are pathetic, if you see what's going on in the big picture. Overall Japan just isn't buying HD consoles.
They're buying Wii's, DS, and PSP.

Looking at the reaction of those people from the 1950's, I couldn't tell.
I looked on gamerankings and it has an 85%, that's what I saw.
is the lowest Resistance 2 has got so far.
and everyone got on their case and I think rightly so.
The reason is because 1up gave the original Resistance a 9.0, and just about everyone seems to agree Resistance 2 has improved from the original.

LBP is badass,and if you've got an online connection, which is something you need this gen to really experience current gen gaming. The possibilities are just about endless, so I expect the patches and additions to keep coming for LBP.

It's been a very weak generation of horror games. They don't make them like they use to.
Silent Hill: Homecoming was a peice of sh*t, I say it proudly. Resident Evil is more action now.
I guess I would turn to Dead Space, Condemned, F.E.A.R, and Bioshock as the only franchises this gen that are trying to bring some horror back.
I don't consider Wii current gen.

I should say that from hype, Fallout 3 is the much bigger game.
From reviews Valkyria Chronicles is averaging like an 8.8/10 and Fallout 3 for PS3 is averaging like 8.9/10.
So, I just wanted to correct that.

Valkyria Chronicles or Fallout 3.

But Valkyria Chronicles is so good, I played the demo. It has an artistic graphics style. It plays like a great Japanese RPG, the kind of gameplay that you just become comfortable with and feel proud of. Perfect compliment to a good storyline. This game is not a 10/10. It's a good game but too many sites give away a 10 like it's candy.
Yes Fallout 3 is a great game, yes it's hyped. It's not a game that we will be remembering or talking about 15 years from now.
LPB is amazing. No other game lets you get so creative. I'm a hardcore gamer and I will say that I think LBP is game of the year. Never played anything like it.
Lets not assume so much because of Japan. Japan has been a really small market for true next gen consoles PS3 and 360 so far.
Over there Hot Shots golf is like PS3's best seller so far. Japan is Different.
