@Element Faster but fewer cores is better for programmers. With the XSX having so many CUs it'll be harder for it to reach it's theoretical peak since you have to do more optimization on the workloads

PS5 has the better looking titles already. You can wait until your heart's content but this is the reality
It's also funny that you mention an old SDK because this very developer said there wasn't anything lacking in the XSX development kit that they used
He kind of killed the tools excuse
Ultimately, these small differences don't matter but it's just funny after the world's most powerful console mantra

If resources from the GPU aren't properly divided between the 52 CUs then it is forced to drop a huge number of those CUs
The GPU has to have enough resources for the CUs at all times or you lose the performance

They went with a slower pool to try to cut costs instead of one unified pool of GDDR6 like the PS5
It wasn't a good move IMO
I like the man as a person but I don't like how much Microsoft is focused on services and slowly trying to get rid of game ownership
I don't think they're going for a different art style, it's just that the lighting was flat, the pop ins were bad and the textures were bad
IMO Ratchet and Clank should've replaced FarCry 6 or The Medium on this list
2020 is one of this generation's best years of gaming if not the best
