It was a pro Wii article with major Sony bashing and nothing negative about the 360. Where was the critisim of the RROD and the BILLIONS M$ has spent? Guess Nintendo can only laugh at Sony loosing $$ eh?

The number 1 seller on Amazon is the game Halo 3 and so >>WAS<< the Xbox 360. Halo has some short shoelaces though since the 360 console is now back in third place.
WII console in lead at first (forth on the chart)
PS3 console in second (sixth on the chart)
Xbox trailing the rear (eleventh place on the chart)
I do think its going to add +100,000 consoles above last months levels, but most people that wanted Halo 3 already had a 360 IMO. ...

Not true, its up to the individual studio to OPTIONALLY turn on region locking, another FEATURE that HD-DVD doesn't have.
I suspect with their resources they will add a lot of paid content to cover their cost. If all else fails they could add a bunch of adverts like other services have.

So by this logic had you rather sell games on a console that has sold 11 million or the PS2 thats sold over 110 million? The gaming companies have to look at not only now, but where they think the industry will be in 5 years.
Actually, M$ is hoping Halo 3 will make them money for the first time ever. The Xbox line has not made a profit in the 5+ years its been out. Of the big three PS3, Xbox and Wii, only the Wii console is making money currently.
Too bad Halo 3 is so last gen and runs at 640p.

Just stop, you have all these games on the 360 and the same titles on the PS3 so you KNOW the 360 plays better - rich child. You listed a lot of titles that are on the PS3 that play just as well (yes there are a few out there that don't - tks EA...), but you didn't list Dirt that plays the same, but looks better on the PS3.

Sony only has 2 SKU’s the 80gb and 60gb models and SONY has been widely stated that the 60gb is being discontinued so they really only have 1 currently produced model. I can’t keep track of all the versions of the 360…
They hate – if it had ZERO games why would anyone feel anything but neutral toward the PS3. Last time I checked Sony was not pointing a gun at anyone to buy it, so why HATE?

I leave my PS3 on all the time so when I’m not gaming or watching movies I am folding. I also have 3 PC’s and leave them on to fold also. I can afford the electricity I use in the cause and I would like to encourage everyone that has a computer that has a folding client to join in and help. Most internet attached computers can participate – JOIN UP!
Yes, I have a usb keyboard and mouse for the PS3 when I use Fedora Linux and use a bluetooh keyboard and mouse for browsing on the PS3 side. The MS bluetooh keyboard/mouse was like $20.00 + shipping on ebay.
I am a long time PC gamer, but I would NOT own any console if the PS3 didn't offer blu-ray. I've owned the PS3 for only a few months and already have 17 Blu-Ray movies and 4 games. PS3 = Best of both worlds!
The mass market will look at the $200 price and thumb their nose and buy the $40.00 upscalling DVD player. Until you have a higher saturation of HDTV's most people are just not going to buy any form of HD. The total of all HD formats is 1% or the DVD market and until the cost of the players are close to the same as standard DVD then HD is not going to sell to the average man on the street.
