I gave it a 4/5 in a review I wrote on another site. I think holding it to same standard as a home console version of Uncharted is unfair, but everyone seems to do it. This is almost exactly what I wanted out of an Uncharted handheld launch title, and while the touch screen stuff wasn't needed, none of it lasted long enough to take away from the experience. The game looks great, the story is good, and I had a good time with the characters throughout the game. That's more than I usuall...
I just want good games that I can have fun playing. I don't need game changing, I just need no hassle, immersive, great experiences. Whether they are from Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Apple, Valve, or some new, unannounced console makes no difference to me.
Bring me the fun.
I would be embarrassed if I paid $40 for this, given that it's been $1 on mobile phones at certain point, and never more than $10.
Gameloft is a horrible company.
Capcom has become one of the worst for crap like this, in addition to rehashing the same games over and over again as retail properties.
I haven't bought a Capcom game new since Resident Evil 5 because of their "Resident Evil 5 Gold" bullshit on the PS3 that was a required purchase instead of patching Move support into the original RE5.
You should learn to relax more.
Hopefully they get it patched up and drop it on the U.S. Vita store, because I really want to play Arctic Edge on my Vita.
People that defend this kind of shit only need to look as far as the PSP and how what ended up pretty much killing the platform started as, "Just wanna run some homebrew yo!"
Give me a break, you give people a crack in the wall, and they'll tear the entire thing down.
I would consider it if they would just give me a separate BF3 key to give to my son for his Origin account, but if you have BF3 already, which I do, then you don't get jack.
So I'm out.
DLC is going to be the downfall of this gaming generation.
I'm excited to see whatever lineup they have planned for the 2nd half of 2012 on the Vita.
Also, release Intelligent Qube on PSN as a PSOne Classic. Do it now!
Motorstorm RC, GO!
Can't wait for my copy of Unit 13 to show up either.
I'm stoked to hear about more Vita games. I <3 my Vita yo!
Save Nintendo from what, making tons and tons and tons of money?
Reggie would like to respond, but he's off swimming in a lake of gold coins, Scrooge McDuck Style.
The game plays fine for me, I'm about 7 hours in.
Maybe I'm just 200ms slower than the person who wrote the article.
People should take reviews that are allowed to come out before the game ships with a grain of salt IMO. I'm sure it's a good game, but I'll wait until the "common reviewers" get a chance to talk about it.
In the end, this is probably a 95% EA move anyway. They should go threaten John Rigatello. :)
I'm not going to harass Bioware employees, I'm just going to not buy their game, and I encourage others to not buy their game as well.
You may not care that Bioware/EA are pushing the line on what gets included with the game you buy and what you have to pay extra for, and so you'll buy into it, and next time, they'll move the line a little more, and then a little more, and eventually, you will care, and it'll be too little, too late.
"According to a guy in 4chan"
Let me stop you there...
Crap week for the Vita releases. Next week tho, Motorstorm RC and Unit 13! Can't wait.
Maybe not the best initial numbers, but everybody I know that has a Vita can't put the thing down, so hopefully word of mouth and a good launch lineup will help carry it until more big games start shipping. Personally, I'm excited to get my copy of Unit 13 next week.
"This is going to hurt me more than it hurts you."
