I get depressed sometimes when I think of the PS3 not having hardly any JRPG's since making the transition from the PS2. It's quite sad actually. I love JRPG games, and I keep hoping we will get some nice ones, but nothing ever shows up. Given Valkyria Chronicles is nice, and I believe WKC and Demon Souls will be nice as well, it just isn't enough to satisfy the craving that many PS3 owners like myself have for these games. They should seriously step up the JRPG genre for the PS3.

You are delusional.

Needing the party system I agree with, the controls "problem" I do not. I have had no problem with the controls since I picked it up. Sure, it was an adjustment at first, but if they weren't different than COD controls I would have been disappointed. The connection issues have not been a problem for me. As for the shotgun, all I can say is become more tactical, because if you get shot with a shotgun in real life, that is about what it will be like.

My God, have people become so lazy that they can't adjust to a change? Would you like the game to wipe your a$$ for you too? The controls are fine, they just take some getting use too. For those who stick around and learn the controls, I commend you, for those who continue to complain, go back to COD because you aren't worthy of KZ2.

For you people who think owning all 3 systems makes you immune to being a fanboy...think again. Stop trying to sugarcoat everything. Sure, the article is old, but it's stating a fact. Even now the problems still persist, and for those who have a launch system it's just a matter of time. Nobody is denying the fact that RRoD is still constant, but what people need to realize is Microsoft isn't doing anything to fix it. The faulty consoles are replaced with other faulty consoles. Do you actually...

You obviously can't read. I said it was bad code...since when does that point to the 360? It's obviously SE's fault.

It's sad to see my favorite genre suffer so much just so M$ can have the games on their console. It seems to be a case of bad code here, but other JRPGs released were horrible with the exception of one or two. It seems Square-Enix has gotten lazy, which makes me think back to the days when REAL devs made the JRPGs. Squaresoft>>>>> >>Square-Enix forever. Level-5 will be the future!

King of what?? Hype? Oh Gamestop.....LMAO. That's like winning the special olympics, no matter what, you're still retarded.

No, it's not overrated. Know why? Squaresoft>>>>> Square-Enix.

I think Final Fantasy X was the best out of the series.

No need to make any fighting game an exclusive, so this is no surprise. All fighting games should be multi-platform.

^^^^LMAO at the disagree given to me for the above comment. You can really tell some people are under 10 on this site.

A very well put together comment.

Either way you still have to end up paying if you want anything other than a "trial". But my guess is alot of people keep getting the trial codes for free when one runs out in order to NOT have to pay for Live...LMAO, nice way to support the system. *goes back to Killzone 2*

The only reason they have succeeded to this extent is because they skimped on the hardware quality to be able to sell their system really cheap, and spent the majority of their money on exclusives, timed or otherwise. When you think about it, since the 360 makes you buy a Wi-Fi adapter just to be able to get online, the price isn't that great (still cheaper of course) compared to the quality you get with a PS3. $199+$99.99=$298.98, then add in an XBL card for a year and that's another $40. So...

This may present a problem temporarily. My question is, why add this new tech to these two games? Shouldn't they have done this with say...Gears 2...Left 4 Dead? First the supposed RRoD cure, and now the new anti-piracy measures. We'll see.

Ummm, yeah ok....*rolls eyes*. *Goes back to playing Killzone 2*

I believe they did what they needed to do with KZ2. Nobody can argue that is it ONE OF (for you fanboys so you don't pee your pants while crying) the best FPS games of all time. The game is amazingly beautiful, the controls are excellent once you get use to them, and the campaign and MP are just awesome!!!! What more could you want in a FPS?

5574d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Like I've said before, and like it or not...the 360 doesn't sell because of it's great hardware, it sells because they take the money they saved on making a crappy console, and spend it on huge 3rd party exclusives, timed or not. Sony is killing them with 1st party devs though, which are way better games. When people buy a 360, they expect it to fail, otherwise why would people buy 2, 3, 4, or even 5 of them? That is why it's so easy for MS to drop the price. As long as they sell systems they...

I'm sure with KZ2 they decided to send more than the actual pre-order stats just to make sure everyone who wanted it got it. The game has a tremendous potential to sell out, but they didn't want anyone not getting a copy so they adjusted for it. I've never had to pre-order a game. I just walk into the store on launch day and buy it.
