I seriously doubt this was the initial playtime for this person. No telling how many times they went through, and it's just some tool who wants to say "hey, i bet GOW III in around 8 hours so don't waste your money". What they fail to mention is how blown away they were with their INITIAL gameplay experience and only want to sugarcoat the experience with bull like this. If Crysis 2 didn't look better than Killzone 2 I would wonder. But you have to agree that KZ2 is still very impressive even when compared to Crysis 2 a year after it's release. Why not compare Halo: Reach to Crysis 2? Where's that comparison? I do believe however that it will look better on PS3 than XB360 when it comes out for consoles. We will have to see.

At least I know for certain if they do release a multi-plat game that they will make it the same on both systems and not shaft one system. Insomniac are not a team of lazy devs, they do tremendous work and I look forward to everything they release.
I don't have an HDTV yet, so I play my PS3 on my SDTV most of the time and it's perfectly fine. I do however have a 23" HDTV 1080p monitor for my computer that was a b-day gift which connects to my PS3 nicely using the HDMI cable and it works perfectly. I do notice on alot of newer games that the text is hard to read on a SDTV (example: Star Ocean 4).

The day they allow the same for consoles will be the real "war", but then they will just be classified as "PCs" anyway, so it's pointless. I would sure their a$$e$ too. The total investment into IW counting the acquisition and royalties was only $41 million. They made $3 billion and decided to just use IW and not pay. I hope Activision falls to pieces.

I don't even own a 360 and I think this is a really shi++y move on Capcom's part. Why not go ahead and make it more discs and give them the full game because the costs would probably even out from what they will make from the DLC as opposed to using more DVDs. Makes me wonder about these companies sometimes.
Both look good and of course the PS3 looks clearer, but in the defense of Squeenix taking M$ dollars to make the game for the 360 then you really couldn't expect it to be better than they made it. They were limited but did a very nice job given the hardware and engine they had to use. At least more people can enjoy an awesome FF game. Don't own a 360 so PS3 was the only one I was getting anyway. Should be a great game.
This will definitely vary based on player skill. However, 10+ hours of God of War goodness is always welcome!!!
