It would add more clutter to the UI which isn't good for a competitive shooter and I doubt it'd be used much if you had to press a button to show the minimap especially on console.

Microsoft need content to make Game Pass work, it's irrelevant what Sony.

Sony would not allow Game Pass on PS5 unless Microsoft had so many big name IPs that Sony had little choice and to do that MS would have to follow the same path of buying developers and publishers en masse.

I don't want to see Sony take the same path as MS and focus on services to the detriment of their standalone AAA games. It's a lot harder to monetise single player ga...

Obviously there needs to be punishment for crime but this is excessive IMO.

Cases need to be judged on the individual merits of said case and should not involve cruel, unfair and unusual punishments to send a message to other potential offenders and to do so is unjust.

This just reeks of the control and corrupting influence corporations have over the government and judiciary.

The Evil Within games made odd tech choices too and I never particularly liked the look of id Tech 5 used by The Evil Within and the derivative engine used in The Evil Within 2.

A lot of people myself included turn off rumble for better battery life and because I don't want the extra vibration as I've had enough of that due to past jobs I've worked using handheld tools.

Just because you see value in something doesn't mean everyone will or value said thing to the same extent.

I'd say quality of games is MS's biggest issue going forward as they've got tons of games in the pipeline but will they be good/g...

Sony are better at sharing tech between their studios too. Maybe if Microsoft had fully developed the Slipspace engine in-house using a variety of talent from different MS studios it'd be in far better shape.

Hopefully MS learn their lessons and stop outsourcing to temporary contractors wherever possible, that's one of their biggest issues.

The main problem with the SDK for the Xbox Series was it wasn't ready early enough whereas the PS5 SDK was in a better shape at a comparable points leading up to launch and sometime after launch. Developers haven't been complaining about the state of the Xbox SDK for a while now.

Really a quite baffling series of events as the PS4/XO > PS5/XS hardware share a lot more commonalities then most other console transitions.

It seems like Microsoft is...

It's just someone's opinions and poorly informed ones at that.

You're entitled to your opinion and have the right to voice it.

I'm not hyped for any of these games but I go out of my way to not buy into hype and make judgments based on media and reviews released after the game has released as too many Youtubers and review sites let free preview/review copies from developers and publishers cloud their judgment.

I couldn't agree more with this comment.

This site seems to be full of sensationalists often pushing political agendas.

Sony have a history of paying developers and publishers for timed and indefinite exclusives essentially paying for games not to be available on Xbox, that trend was always going to continue and likely to get even worse which partly would have motivated MS to buy Bethesda and other developers and publishers.

Whether you want to accept it or not Sony past actions are coming home to roost. I fully expect over time Bungie and any new Sony purchases will not release games at the...

It wasn't sabotaged, it just wasn't given as much care and attention as the PS5 version of the game. Happens all the time with Xbox and PC ports so I'm not at all surprised.

Epic would have closely worked with Microsoft on the creation of the Xbox Series, the same is true for Sony and the PS5. Epic is the same company that told Microsoft 256MB of RAM was insufficient and 512MB of RAM was necessary on the Xbox360 and Microsoft obliged.

The reason Microsoft did not include more proprietary tech like Sony did with RAD Tool's Kraken decompression technology and accompanying hardware is all these extra processors and subsystems have to be accoun...

Microsoft need to do a much better job of polishing games before release. Just because their games are on Game Pass that's not an excuse to release games that clearly need more time and polish.

I can see why some people are annoyed at paying for a Battle Pass for the privilege to unlock items should you meet certain criteria.

I played a lot of OW1 (full RRP day 1 purchase) but the monetisation changes made to OW2 make it feel like the game was created to milk money out of players and to do that they shutdown OW1 so players had no alternative.

Quickplay solo or in small grounds is a pretty horrible experience and there is a lot more throwers in O...

Really depend on how long you're willing to wait.

Chances are good the eventual PC port will have issues on release so you may have to wait months for the game to be patched up to par.

There will always be bullies.

The best thing much of the time is to ignore them where possible or follow proper process in the workplace or other relevant settings.

Getting off social media or just blocking the offending people would be a better use of time.

Considering Sony still has to pay licensing fees to Marvel this is somewhat understandable.

For all we know Marvel could have stipulated in their contract/licensing terms that the game could only be on PSN+ for a limited amount of time.

This website really likes to write about nothingburgers.

343i isn't the studio to make Halo relevant again.

While Halo will never be as popular as it once was another more competent developer might be able to do something with then franchise.

The title is ironic as Halo's downfall in part started when it started copying COD and ignoring longtime fans of the series.

I share some of the sentiments but I am sad there probably won't be another big budget turn-based mainline FF.

I wouldn't pin the changes on newer gamers as it's developers and publishers pushing these changes as they think said changes will lead to greater critical reception and higher sales.
