Censored in which country?
I don't think anybody is hyping the cover art. It's more or less that we have more information on the game, even if it is insignificant.
It seems kind of odd that they didn't decide to put rain in picture, considering the name of the game is "Heavy Rain".
It does matter because that affects what a PS3 owner will want to come to the system. If the same game is available on the PC, something 95% of people have, then it affects that desire directly.
Especially when the PC versions is far better to begin with.
I'm a PS3 owner, and overall, I prefer the PS3 over the Xbox 360.
One of those reasons is because none of the heavy hitter exclusives for the 360 interest me at all. Personally I don't see anything special in the Gears of War series. They're still fun to play but have had the misfortune of being overhyped like other 360 exclusives in the first 2 years.
Ever since the PS2 Splinter Cell, I've never really thought the series was all that great (I don't think I've even...
Ignore what I said.
I know this is a good deal and all but could you guys get a grip and stop spouting "It Only Does Everything" after every sentence. It makes you look like a pathetic loyalist. We wouldn't want that now, would we?
I think in this case when he says "suspension" it means ban. Not a temporary ban.
From these details it seems to have combined all the best things from FFX and FFVII, with the 'missions' being adapted from FF XII.
More than likely going to get it.
Dodging 250 consecutive lightning bolts was freaking ridiculous. No way I could get Lulu's ultima weapon fully 'charged'.
Spawn system needs a little tweaking. I dislike it when three enemies spawn right behind me when most of my team is moving away from me.
That's sad.
Traditional RPG versus an Action RPG. They're borderline different genres, with ME (2) practically a third-person shooter with RPG afterthoughts.
Enough with this dumb JRPG/WRPG crap.
It sucks that I already have two systems that my account(s) are still activated on even though I couldn't deactivate them due to the YLoD error and a broken video output on the other.
Why can't Sony just allow me to go online, enter my account info, and deactivate from there?
The update didn't really do anything besides allow game/trophy information to be displayed on your page. I was expecting some type of dedicated application like the 360's but you still have to manually enter the web address into the Web Browser.
They're not charging for gaming related online access.
So, essentially what Live should be:
Free online access to the games you already paid for.
If you want to use "premium" applications and features (non-gaming) you can get a subscription.
I'm okay with this model.
I'd give it somewhere between and 8.0 and 8.5 simply because it's more or less (in regards to MP) the same game with more thought. The maps are definitely a whole lot better than those on Modern Warfare and I haven't found one I dislike.
As for "jaggies" the reviewer is talking about I haven't seen any glaring mistakes/errors as of yet.
"...buy the Xbox 360 version of Modern Warfare 2 since it has been proven to offer better networking and matchmaking capabilities."
"Infinity Ward has release updates for the Playstation 3 to fix some of the problems been experienced on PSN."
Why would you even bother to add these into the review when the problem was corrected? Especially when both versions perform the same.
'Natal lag issues will hurt game development'
Too bad the Wii disproves that theory.
