Nice PC version. Console won't be as good but will be close enough especially with the Ps3.
Modern Warfare 3 will need to improve significantly to match the urban warfare of Battlefield 3 ... let alone the vehicle combat. Jets baby, FTW.

3D is not a gimmick but a method to allow greater immersion in the game/video
I love my NFL and enjoy it much more in HD than SD TV .... immersion. I would enjoy it even more in 3D ... greater immersion in the action.
Likewise with video games.

The PSP/Vita should have always been an alternative controller for the Ps3 AND been able to receive the AV signal from the Ps3 so you could play actual Ps3 games around the house, instead of being in front of your HD TV.

By simply adding 4 Gb of ram to a Ps3 with a firmware update to allow multitasking applications using this extra RAM, this SKU would be significantly more better than the Ps3.
To hell will all the R&D in expensive new hardware.
Just rebrand the "Super" Ps3 as the Ps4.
Sony better have learnt from the Wii
The Ps4 just needs to be better/improved Ps3 -- heaps of RAM(2+ Gb), true multitasking game OS, improved Cell processor & GPU, much slimmer.
This Ps4 would sell for ~$300, be fully backward compatible with Ps3, be easy for developers to make new games on, offer full HD gaming and high stable framerates.
Learn from the success of the Wii, Sony. No more f*ckn expensive new technology but improvement on ...

MAG is the game they should have been focusing on getting right.
TPS such as SOCOM are now last gen, and nowhere near as popular as modern technology FPS. Least we forget.... Modern Warfare.
Zipper shouldn't have even bothered making a SOCOM, what with the popularity of Modern Warfare .... and to a lesser extent Bad Company.
Ideally, they should have beefed up MAG with better graphics, physics, vehicles, and destruction, and maximum 64 players.
But MAG would have been a huge hit had they simply used the Warhawk game engine with similar glorious Warhawk gameplay(land/air combat) as a FPS with 32-64 players.
