I no longer care about Rare- all my faith in their abilities have been flushed down the toilet. Sure Viva Pinata was OK, but boy o boy was Perfect Dark Zero crap, with its ugly controls, cheesy plot and voice-overs and Kameo was pretty in graphics but an underwhelming experience at best. The defective rate is not 100% otherwise Microsoft would be forced to issue a recall of all the launch '05 consoles. The problem is, when you get the 3 red rings and send it in for repair, that's what microsoft does: repair. They repair and refurbish defective consoles and send them back. So really, the defection rate is high for a console, but not ridiculously out-of-control high like everyone is saying, because its just the same consoles dying. This and Mass Effect are definately my most anticipated games of this year! August though? Usually a quiet month. Don't usually play alot of games during the summer, but this year will be an exception...
I think it would be in Sony's best interest to increase the supply of 20GB PS3 units, because $500 is easier on the wallet than $600. Honestly though, even $500 is too much.

I can't believe some of the ignorant people on this site. I am on my 5th xbox 360, so am i doing anything wrong? NO, I AM NOT! Just think about other people who haven't complained to Watchdog about their broken 360's. I think the figures are much higher than this.
This game has alot of potential. Imagine a Wii version though, swinging the remote like a lightsaber....thinking about it, it would probably end up crap. Oh well.

I have doubts whether HD-DVD will actually dominate the next gen format war. If HD-DVD wins, then i'll be happy to buy myself an external HD-DVD drive for the 360, as i've heard from my friends that it is really good buy and alot of reviews of it have been excellent.
You're right Grown Folks Talk, but i posted this to prove a point. You watch how many comments this post gets. Alot of people say they are bored of the whole console war, marketshare talk, but look how many of those articles got loads of comments. Gamers obviously care enough to bother posting a comment.
I've never even heard of gamepro. Sounds like a some sort of console accessorie more than a game website and magazine...
PS3 will have a decent market share in the future, but i see Sony doing a Microsoft this generation: PS3 is gonna bleed money left right and centre. Sony will barely profit from the PS3 and should get straight to work on PS4, if they haven't already started doing so...

I have no issue with the quality of xbox 360 games and its excellent exclusives, i just have an issue with the quality of the hardware. I don't care what anyone says; Microsoft really and i mean REALLY f*cked up their manufacturing at launch.
