Hello...the Elite does not use HD-DVD discs, so using v 1.2 is outdated but makes sense for Microsoft. Now if someone was to say that the PS3 used this version, then it wouldn't make sense...

You do understand us gamers on here are Hardcore gamers right. I am betting everyone who posts on this site is a Hardcore gamer, or who at least games quite a lot. But, consider a question. Will the MAJORITY of gamers (the CASUAL GAMERS) be bothered about the Elite? Do they honestly care about HDMI (do they know what it stands for, what it does?)Do they have HDTV's? Gamers and Fanboys are SOOOO quick to jump on the attack bandwagon, but come on everyone! The graphics look sweet (and are a big improvement for a GTA game), the environments are fully detailed with nice lighting effects etc. But more importantly, we're forgetting gameplay. Until gameplay is shown, then you can't claim to be disappointed over a game where gameplay is absent. Rockstar still have 6 months to complete the game and i have great confidence in them that they will achieve their goal...
