Microsoft really ought to drop Flextronics, their other manufacturer. They are sh*t. Can't repair anything let alone produce a next-gen console! Really though, Microsoft must improve manufacturing and stop going for the cheap option all the while.

55 million? Don't think so, but will pass 40 mil. The 360 is selling steady, i don't think that is disappointing. What these so called 'analysts' don't understand is that next-gen consoles are a completely different kettle of fish to current-gen consoles.
1. Next-gen consoles cost more
2. HDTV is optional but come on- you need to buy one to experience the true graphical wonders.

I think the PS3 is reasonably priced for what it offers. But this is a CONSOLE. Not a computer, a video player and all that sh*t. If Sony would just drop the damn price it could easily compete with the 360 and would probably obliterate it, such is the intensity of the PS brand power. If Sony are gonna do anything right, then they MUST drop the price, and MUST keep the 20GB unit, as it is the easy access for casual gamers (still too much mind you, but $500 is alot easier on the wallet than $60...
Alot of these games coming out have been on the 360 for a while, if not a year already. The fall period is where the real PS3 games are coming out!

If i was going to buy a PS3 (which i'm not) then i would definately go for the 60GB model. Why would you want a 20GB hard drive when you could have 60GB? 40GB is a MEGA difference!

There are so many 360 games i want, i counted up all the soon to be released and unreleased titles i am interested in for 360 yesterday, and i ended up wanting about 36 games! This is bankruptcy!
Bad Karma, it's strange really, because you may be right about 360 using cheap unskilled labour because many do break down. Microsoft have a good (mostly) customer support service, but it shouldn't break down in the first place. Not within the 1st year of purchase atleast. Or it could be Microsoft just rushed the 360 development. I remember that Microsoft + ATI had only just finalised the GPU in August 2005. One complete rush.
