I think it is very different from Uncharted. Sure, the aiming and set pieces are similar, but this Tomb Raider has a lot of exploration in open areas, a levelling up system, Metroid like back tracking and a bunch of items to use, not just guns. Not really like Uncharted at all aside from set pieces.
If anything MS releasing first was probably the best thing that could have happened. Imagine if Sony would have released first with such a dull online component, high price point and that horrible attitude that they had? It's good that they released 2nd as they were forced to step their game up. Sony fans have benefited most from it and I am happy with how things turned out.
I think Sony will offer the best games for me, but you're totally right. What line up is better is totally subjective.
Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid.
How the hell can this guy say Uncharted is just Tomb Raider, but with a guy? Sure, they both explore and raid tombs, but that is where the similarity stops (reboot aside, which came after Uncharted). Uncharted is way more action focused, controls different, cover system etc. The climbing controls are similar, but that's it.
(Reboot aside) Tomb Raider had no cover system, was more puzzle focused and placed you in large area...
I'm sorry, I thought you was replying to someone else... ignore me.
The End is missing from the list. Best boss fight by far. MGS3 had the best bosses and is easily the best MGS game to date.
Well, my birthday is the end of June so if a price drop is announced that would be a nice bonus :D
Final Fantasy 13-4, 5 and 6 /s
How is Uncharted not a system selling franchise, but a 10 year old HD touch up is? Sorry, but Vita needs more games specifically made for the Vita. HD remakes are welcome, though. Get a GT game on it and a GTA game.
Next month I'm going to treat myself to one because of my ps+. Too good to pass.
Don't speak on behalf on me!!!!!
Well, your statement is true, but that's not the point!
Probably has never lost a collection of souls on a souls game before. That might push him to tears.
MGS4 bored me to tears if that's what you mean. MGS3 on the other hand was emotional and made me want to cry because I never wanted the game to end lol one of the best games ever.
I have always loved it. It was no Mario 64, but who the hell cares when the finished product was still amazing.
Guess I could always try the 360 version, but I would rather of had a PS3 version. :(
I would love some MGO3! I hope they don't drop the ball with MGS5 like they did with 4. I'm sure Kojima has learnt from his mistakes and is ready to put the MGS series back on track. More stealth!
Does the Japanese version have English subs or voice acting / text?
a lot of the stuff on this list is questionable. The PS3 version of Skyrim at number 3?, Mass Effect 3 at number 4 (even though ME1 and 2 are on PS3), New Vegas is better than Fallout 3 apparently.
Not the best list in the world, in my opinion, but then again it isn't my list. It does go against a lot of the more vocal gamers opinions, though. I still respect the list and Dark Souls and Ni No Kuni hitting the top 2 is a good choice.
Dark Souls should be number 1 in my opinion. As far as I'm concerned it is probably the best game of the generation.
This game looks very promising. The SP, MP and Coop look very strong. I wasn't initially excited because Conviction is hardly my best game, but this looks like a return to form.
