When XBL went down in 2007, the hate was quite impressive. How many seem to forget so soon.
Some good points Godmars but XBL has never been down for a month.
Seems this XBL down for extended periods of time has become the 'broken Telephone' scenario where one person has stated its been down for a week or less...then the next person saying its 2 weeks to a month....and many people on N4.COM running with it.
Sorry to inform you, but texture quality, size and detail has little to do with proprietary format and more to do with a system memory, bandwidth and GPU capabilities. DVD is just one small part. The other parts are more telling and as to why all console games have low resolution textures throughout even when one console uses a larger capacity optical format.
The PS3 can handle 64 players....Like the Xbox360 can handle 50 player online with Front Lines Fuel of War....
Now look at the graphics and physics of those games mentioned?
Those games have visuals just a few steps above the PS2 and Xbox1. Moreover, those game engines for MAG and RFOM 1,2 and Front Lines Fuel of War do not have ANY form of Real Time lighting. Real time Dynamic Global Illumination. Absolutely no destructible environments. Low resolution Textures throughout. ...
If the rumors are correct and this new Nintendo system does have what these rumors claim in specifications, then it would be only logical for Dice and EA to put this game on the new Nintendo system.
It would be the best performing version for consoles by leaps and bounds...IF these rumors are true about its specifications....

Saying ANYTHING not in Sony's favor will not bode well for you on N4G.COM. Just agree that Sony owes you nothing even if you are a PSN+ user and pay for the service that you have no access or little access to and thank SOny for the disruption and move on. LOL

So not all "corporations" or wealthy individuals etc...
XBL like PSN and all online services will go down at times. Nothing is perfect. But XBL during that time was not COMPLETELY DOWN. Many were still able to log in or play online. This is not the case with this PSN outage.
And BTW. Cursing like a 2 year old to get your point across makes you look silly and childish.
If you pay for the service (PSN+) then of course they need to reimburse those users. Other PSN users, no. It's a free service. If Sony wants to do something, then thats up to them. Personally that would be a smart PR move on Sony to do a little something for all PSN users though.
But Sony imo are not obligated to offer reimbursement for a service that is free. PSN+ is another matter all together though.
I bet many people were saying that before the PS3 came out about Sony considering the PS1 and PS2 had design flaws with the disk drives ;-)
The franchise needs a major revamp and overhaul. It's long due and it shows.
If you don't want it gimped...buy the PC version or wait until they release consoles that can handle these games without compromises.

You cannot really compare BF3 to the games you mentioned above.
Furthermore, do you mean graphic wise its not better?
The difference with BF3 even on consoles will be its game engine. Uncharted, KZ3, GT5 and all the other exclusives on the PS3 do not render what BF3 is rendering at any given time.
To compared these games to BF3 in any sense has no purpose
If all these rumors are true and the Wii 2 has at least
1-2gig of ram, DX11 class GPU inside, HDMI 1.4+, USB3.0 PORTS, and most importantly support for Shader model 4.1+, MS and Sony will be releasing a console in 2013. Make no mistake about it.
If you have a capable PC, there is NO reason to buy it on the Xbox360 or PS3.
