Pissed off bluwulf that a multi-platform game looks just as good as any PS3 exclusive, YET has modern effects running in real time?
I am a PC gamer foremost as many on this site will know. But looking at the console version of this game and it stands up to any console game out now.

If you are a console only gamer, then yes. Crysis 1 sucks balls because most likely your use to linear follow the carrot type shooters.
If you PC game then Crysis 1 was a breath of fresh air like Far Cry. And not the console version sequel to it.

Look at how many people on N4G.COM are pissed off that review sites are saying..GOD FORBID...that a MULTI-PLATFORM game is the best looking game on a console. To add fuel to that fire...both the Xbox360 and PS3 version are pretty much the same give or take. LOL

The only people saying KZ3 wipes the floor graphically with Crysis 2 are...well you know.
It does not if you played both games. They are on par graphically because its two different art styles and Crysis 2 is actually doing most of its effects in real time. KZ3 is not. Give credit where credit is due.

Take Crysis 2 and KZ3 head to Head with this also if you will compare...
1) Compare Eye adaptation & high dynamic range(HDR) lighting in REAL TIME...can't. KZ3 does not use HDR at all.
2) Compare interaction and destruction in Environment in REAL TIME...can't. KZ3 has little of it to compare the two.
3) Compare REAL TIME Dynamic Global Illumination...Can't. KZ3 does not have it or use it.

He was. xewndar is trolling as normal. He like many others on this site are scared for reasons i don't know, that Crysis 2 will take the visual crown.
And based on some of these early reviews, they are saying it has. Based on the fact the game is more open. Destruction in the environment is more relevant and the game is using all real time effects.
So expect LOTS of this type of trolling for this game. Its coming full force.
The game is amazing so far. The visuals. The openness of the game compared to the FPS games out there now. I am shocked how great this game looks and plays on the consoles with that level of real time lighting, interaction with the surroundings and vast levels. This is a new benchmark for console FPS IMO.
The PC version will be an absolute killer with the DX11 patch.

Crysis 2 is on par with KZ3 easy. Some areas look better in KZ3, some areas look better in Crysis 2.
Both have different art direction. It's a wash.
Crytek did what they said they would and I had my doubts. They delivered one of the best looking games on consoles. It matches up easy with any PS3 exclusive game. Saying otherwise is lying to yourself and you are going to see MANY M...

I have. I played the game. And my entire point in my post if you read it is simple and I stand by what I said BASED on reading TECH BRIEFINGS FROM GG and CRYTEK. You can do the same. Just Google it. Google tech behind the Cryengine 3 and making of KZ3 or the tech behind KZ2/3:
KZ3 lacks the same level of destruction as Crysis 2.
KZ3 lacks real time lighting. (Most of it is not at least)
KZ3 lacks HDR. It uses LDR and NAO32. Crysis 2 us...
