there's a whole hunting mechanic and money system not to mention a mini game of texas hold'em worth playing instead of darts.
Also the Western theme hasn't been done so well before.
there are also older versions of gta that have more features making it hard to be content with gta4.
finally it is far more fufilling to get a 100% complete in that game than the other.
This is probably the best on the 360. I agree, a lot of games deserve perfect tens after the gta4 10/10 spree, but what you gonna do?.

it just barely has enough rpg elements to make it appeal to a different market.
You could put any console recieving a game late and mostly likely it would sell less. Of course there are exceptions to the rule, tales of whatever on ps3 sold more but mostly you have the bioshock situation.

Hiring film actors to do voices in your game/overpriced engine for cutscenes. Not only are you paying more, but if the story was good, you most likely don't need to pad it with high priced voice actors. Not to mention it's not as important because you are in control of the mannerisms anyway.
Heavenly Sword had that problem and it sold 1,000,000 copies and still wasn't enough for the money they spent on the cutscenes. Or at least they always complain about it. ...
The standard controller which comes with the console or system should be the rule. Simple, fair and effective.

i think a map editor or tower/horde mode would help alot in terms of replayability as well.
want the game regardless. Having a singleplayer only shooter is ambitious and needs to be rewarded.
this is why i don't like dlc. here we have dlc trying to make up for liara's downright poor character on ME2. When it should be made up for in ME3.
Don't get me wrong ME2 was great, it is just annoyting that they will release dlc and make you pay when the next game ME3 will probably use this as the basis for how you interact with Liara. Which if they do is just bs on their part.

gears has lots of problems and technical issues, but the cover system is definately not in any way a flaw or one of them.
to me this only points out how shallow the gameplay will be for this game.
there is a reason taking cover has become something all games started to emulate. Having a character running around being a bullet spong is just not believable. Even if your character is a bullet sponge like in gears, the fact is they at least need the pretense ...

i have to always go to the options and turn it off for even single player campaigns. I would like to see how well alot of these games play online without aim assist for everyone.
Even in resistance 2 i had to turn it off for multiplayer.
