A proper Banjo sequel please! And a new perfect dark that is absolutely nothing like perfect dark zero.
Rage should be on here. That game didn't even have an ending, it just flat out stopped, most anticlimatic game I've ever played.
I'm probably in the minority here but I'm very happy going digital. If we can download the games prior to launch so they're sat on the hard drive and then unlock at 00:01 on day of release that would suit me down to the ground. My only gripe is the price - a lot of new games seem to have the insane price tag of £59.99 on the UK PSN store.
I imagine a small price drop to begin with (once PS4 is announced) and then a more substantial price drop around the time the PS4 is launched. No doubt it will fly off the shelves as a budget blu-ray player that also plays games.
Very interesting idea to be honest, although I don't see why they wouldn't include sticks just underneath the touch screens, same place as they are now. It claims to be drawing inspiration from the Vita but even that has twin sticks.
I don't think you were in the minority there mate, that Motorstorm announcement trailer was amazingly good! I just want to see real games, not really interested in tech demos this time around.
I'm expecting this with GTA V, and wouldn't be surprised to see an upgraded version of Bioshock Infinite
Been waiting such a long time for concrete info on this, can't wait to see it in action!!
I agree with you on Aliens (the original AvP was great though), but Star Wars: KotOR was awesome for it's time, although you would expect both franchises to translate to games really well.
From the article:
"The Durango is said to also allow games to be put into "suspend" and "constrained" states, which seemingly allow users to pause a game, switch to a second game, then return to the first game without losing their place, provided game developers follow some Microsoft protocols"
I assumed multi tasking with apps would be a launch feature (pause a game, check facebook, check a web page, watch a couple of episodes on netflix...
Can't wait to see full game multi tasking in action but it also raises questions. Each game requires an install which you can currently also do on the 360, but at the moment you are still required to keep the disk in the drive.
If Durango can multi task games does this confirm that once a game is installed you won't be able to sell it/let somebody borrow it? otherwise how can it multi task retail disk based games?
Really looking forward to this, about time the Vita had a decent FPS to show off what it can do.
Can't wait for both of these games. Tearaway looks genuinely fresh and interesting whereas Killzone just looks incredible, hats off to the developers for making the Vita produce something so polished. Hope the multiplayer holds up well.
As far as remakes go you could certainly do a lot worse!!
The soundtrack! The HR soundtrack was incredibly done, and really created a feel for the world. Paired with the very stylised world this could translate perfectly to the big screen, on paper at least.
It's pretty much a given at this point. Even GTA V is supposed to be releasing in spring, which is perfect since after June all eyes will be on next-gen.
This just keeps getting better and better, Chief looks awesome! Can't wait to see the final episode next week!
After that I'll watch them all back to back and then it's on to Halo 4...
I have to admit, I'm pretty amazed that the GTA trilogy hasn't had a HD remake by now. All they had to do was increase the poly count of the main characters and cars etc, up the resolution to 720p, possibly increase the frame rate so it was smoother (especially in the case of San Andreas) and improve the draw distance.
Considering some of the HD remakes that are currently available it's incredible to think that one of the most popular series from last gen hasn'...
I'm not normally a fan of MMOs but I have to admit, this has piqued my interest. I've invested well over 100 hours into Skyrim so I just hope it plays like that rather than a more traditional MMO.
Would be very happy to see it running smoothly on next gen consoles too.
Glad to hear. I'd still love to see cross over play between xbox/ps3/4 and pc, especially since the world is supposed to develop constantly. Does this means the world will be slightly different on each platform?
